Are these nice or hideous??

So I have quite bad bunions, and also sweaty feet (I am quite a catch, honestly!😂)

These shoes appear to be the answer to my prayers! They hide/help straighten my hideous bunions and are open aired and also appear to be supportive. But my question is do they look odd?? Do they look exactly like I'm trying to hide a bunion???

They are £16 if that makes any difference. On eBay.

Your feet aren't too bad at all OP. They look OK

Freaking0ut · 28/04/2019 15:02

For £10 you could buy them and try them and it’s bongreat loss if you decide they are hideous.

(Also I quite like them and would like you to post a link Grin)

slowdownplease · 28/04/2019 15:02

Awww bless you, thank you! I've been so worried!😚

@Freaking0ut

I'm not sure how to do links from eBay, but if you type in

Women summer sandals slippers feet
Correct flat sole three arch UKSALE

then you should find them? Failing that, can anyone tell me how to link to eBay??

Your feet look fine to me. Put some nice polish on and you're good to go.

IWannaSeeHowItEnds · 28/04/2019 15:15

I think those shoes are fine - not ugly at all.

slowdownplease · 28/04/2019 15:16

Aww thank you, I do always feel they look better with polish on, must go and find my bottles, been lost somewhere all winter!

AudacityOfHope · 28/04/2019 15:19

They look like shoes a chiropodist would prescribe you on the NHS Confused

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 28/04/2019 15:27

They look like shoes a chiropodist would prescribe you on the NHS of course they don't!

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 28/04/2019 15:39

I'm 30 and I'd wear them!

They're the sort of thing that when you're younger you can wear easily and then become tricky during middle age before being acceptable over 70 again iyswim!

ElspethFlashman · 28/04/2019 15:48

Oh your feet are way better than in your own head!

Try the Floridas, the straps are perfectly placed for my bunion, lying above and below, but it feels really camouflaged, especially in a cool colour/finish. I have silver iridescent ones and never worry about my bunion in them, I have to say.

You can get awesome ones. There are some on ASOS, which has free shipping and returns so you could try the style at home and send back if you don't like them.

ElspethFlashman · 28/04/2019 15:57

These are mine. They are also in the wide fitting, which I don't really need but it probably helps with the bunion accommodation as your foot is more central with space to spare at the top.

Shouldershrugger · 28/04/2019 15:58

Why would you do such injustice to your feet? Blunt no from me. H&m have very reasonably priced sandals..

FiremanKing · 28/04/2019 16:06

The look like they should be worn by an old art teacher who who smells of Patchouli and has frizzy hair and a penchant for patchwork gypsy skirts.

Greenglassteacup · 28/04/2019 16:17

OP your feet are fine, don’t put them in those fugly sandals

Alsohuman · 28/04/2019 16:25

They look fine for everyday knocking about purposes.

SwedishEdith · 28/04/2019 16:30

I just think for that price, the quality will be crap.

What about Birkenstock Vaduz?

www.birkenstock.com/gb/models/vaduz/

Quite like these myself as don't like a lot of foot on display.

m00rfarm · 28/04/2019 16:39

I h ad these - cost me £50 per paid (moschulu) - and they were THE most comfortable shoes I ever had. but OH loathed them so I ended up not replacing them when they wore out.

BlueMerchant · 28/04/2019 16:43

The sandals are awful. Look like you are wearing them as part if ongoing bunion treatment.

TheCanterburyWhales · 28/04/2019 16:46

Hideous.
Even if you have tiny beautifully manicured feet.
My aunt (aged 82) has something similar.

SpamChaudFroid · 28/04/2019 16:51

I only just realised I too have bunions thanks to your pic *OP! I thought my big toes just turned inwards. The bunions must have gaining size without me noticing. Saying that, I have noticed I need wider fit shoes now.

The Birkenstock Arizonas are SO comfy. Also you can adjust the buckle on both straps. And they come in 2 widths - regular (which is really a wide fitting) and narrow (which is more of a true regular)

i was also looking at Teva and been umming and ahhing over these.

XingMing · 28/04/2019 21:07

I've seen a lot worse frankly. They are inoffensive, so if you find them comfortable, stop the search. They aren't gorgeous, but if they do what you want, they're okay.
