Running leggings which don't need hoicking up every few yards

Anyone recommend running leggings which stay up?
I am a curvy size 10, I like to wear leggings which are fairly snug as otherwise I get distracted by my arse jiggling around!
Anyone recommend leggings which will stay up on the waist, and aren't too flimsy?
I have always bought from TKMAX in the past, but the selection and quality is too poor lately.

I have more expensive pairs but recently tried out a Mataram pair and they are my new favourites!

Go for a high waist. My best pair are from addidas.

PinaColadaPlease · 21/04/2019 03:36

Another vote for Sweaty Betty power leggings. Expensive but worth it!

Ivegotthree · 21/04/2019 07:28

Nike and Sweaty Betty both vg.

Can anyone recommend a good belt for phone?

Richlyfruited · 21/04/2019 08:20

My Primark ones are fine - stay put without any slippage! Seem good quality too and wash well.

Agree about the TK Maxx selection going downhill. I always got my running gear from there but last few visits their stuff has been awful.

ScrambledSmegs · 21/04/2019 08:29

The only reason I recommend the 2XU with the pocket is that the waistband is lovely and deep and stays up brilliantly. Much better than the no-pocket ones.

ShowOfHands · 21/04/2019 10:41

I think you just need to try a few because as this thread shows, everybody is different. My best ones right now are Tesco Davina ones. They're brilliant and cost me a fiver.

My 2XU are worse than useless.

trendingorange · 22/04/2019 00:36

Thanks everyone, think show is right, I'll just have to try a few....the bummer is they often fit lovely in the fitting room, it's only half away through your first run you realise they aren't as good as you thought they might be!

Nike and Asics are both very good.
Lululemon is crap.

VixenAbroad · 22/04/2019 10:11

Bam, Sweaty Betty or Skins are all fab fitting and don’t move.

AskMeHow · 22/04/2019 10:23

My best leggings are all Brooks, I don't buy any others now. Some styles have a big pocket you can get your phone in and a key pocket as well. Snug, firm material and don't ride down.

Lotsofsausage · 22/04/2019 11:08

fabletics super powerhold. they are amazing.

sleepwhenidie · 22/04/2019 11:12

Another vote for Sweaty Betty. Grab them in the brief sales that happen (subscribe to mailing list to find out when). They wear really well too.

Thecatisboss · 22/04/2019 11:12

Just been out running in my mizuno 3/4 leggings bought from sports hoes.com (where I spend far too much money on running stuff!) I'm about a 10 and their small fit me and are very comfy.

scratchbass · 22/04/2019 11:14

Ronhill have never let me down! If you don't mind not having this seasons colours it's usually cheaper to look for old stock on eBay or amazon.

Unburnished · 22/04/2019 11:16

Gym Shark high Waist and Nike Pro high waist are best for staying up I find. Nike run small however. I have to use goose fat to crow bar myself into their ‘Medium’ size and I’m a 10.

ShowOfHands · 22/04/2019 11:48

I find Nike sizing just fine. I'm a size 8 and wear an 8 and they're fine, very slightly generous if anything.

This is what I mean. We all have different experiences.

Pinkruler · 22/04/2019 13:06

Agree the Next ones are good.

CatsForLife · 22/04/2019 13:08
