PINKarsedfly PINK, pick the pint lace one, though I think IT has picked you ….. Same thoughts as PP re the red and green dress, if you don't mind us saying. Cut of green dress does not do you any favours at all (sorry as I know you liked it), but it drowns your figure & your lovely flat stomach, in fact it actually creates bulk around your middle which we've seen from your previous pics isn't there (ie in the pink floral with the lace, which came at same time as The one).
If you love the red dress, and can afford it, keep it. You deserve it after all the stress you've been going through to find your dress etc.
Having just gone back to look at the pics of the red one again before I finished my post and just realised - em, it's covered in white flowers, quite a busy pattern of them really, which is fine if it's being worn on it's own - but wouldn't you're bouquet, especially as you've updated you're having one and just ordered cream peonies as your flowers, not actually disappear into the dress?!?! It might be hard to distinguish in photos where that dress ends and the bouquet begins and where the bouquet begins and the dress ends? Especially if maybe you are not having a professional photographer and it'll be family/guests at the wedding taking shots on the day.
I think a sparkly hair clip will be a fab look on you too :)
Also, may I pass on an excellent tip from my wedding photographer, as she knew I was worried about my apple shaped/excess weight I was carrying, re your original post being annoyed at yourself for being a wee bit bigger at the moment - do not carry or hold your bouquet/pose for pics with it directly in front of your stomach/sitting up near your bust line, with your arms making a kind of stiff U shape. This makes any bride look bigger, even very slender brides. I know we've established you have nothing to worry about re your figure, and I know you now believe that :) but just wanted to pass the tip on so you can look even more amazing in you pics.
Hold it slightly lower down with a more loosened arm (if you know what I mean), around about just under you tummy button, when walking down the aisle, and the same when posing for pics, and at times drop it even lower when holding it to the front, and also hold it off,, arm fully dropped but loose, to the side a bit.
She'd also suggested that whilst you are talking to people after/being congratulated etc (where guests may be snapping away without you noticing take natural shots) holding it with a slightly loosened arm (if you know what I mean) off centre, down to one side. It does feel a bit contrived at first, but the pics I have holding it like this are very flattering. You may wish to try holding something similar sized to the shape/size of your bouquet, in front of your mirror, both in front of your tummy like most brides do, and then lower/off to the side to see what I mean. I think with the way you carry yourself, and that lovely lean back you have in your swanking photo, that will actually look very natural for you.
Anyway, I've done it again, another war and peace post, when I was only going to jump on and say a few lines lol. It's all falling into place in plenty of time for the big day, so woohoo, hopefully soon you can take a breather from trying on dresses/bras/shoes and so forth, and reading/posting/updating comments in this thread & actually relax a bit and enjoy the run up to your wedding!
Last thought, honest. You need to save/screen shot, or some other way be able to record these 2 amazing threads for posterity, so that you have a record of the utterly amazing story about how you found your wedding dress :), you know, to be able to show your grandchildren lol.
