I am going to the Launch Party for a band's new single at a swanky London Nightclub (but it is early evening). The band (boys) are in their early twenties... I am not .

out of a bottle - supposed to be champagne blonde but I would say just a little ginger!!!

its not that hard to do fake tan
but an exfoliator and have a bath/shower with it! then applythe tan, and get a face cloth and rub over your elbows, ankles, tops of your feet , anywhere bony and you ll look fab,
recommend roc fake tan or otigins (very very subtle)

Event is Tuesday! Just time for one quick grab and buy shopping trip before then. Eek! Have given the pics names now for clarity!

You could get a professional tan done. Make sure you wear a good bra and knickers too!

Would not reccommend you try a fake tan at home unless you are well practised. A fake tan disaster the day before will ruin your night and you sound nervous as it is. Practise after the event for next time.

b\w over skinny jeans with pumps for comfort if walking around a lot. wear lots of sets of beads, all different. i'm loving that at the mo.

I would wear the top with black leggings and either ballet pumps or killer heels. And def not the cardi!

ooh thanks for that, MotherFunk - that's really helpful. I'll give it a go round the shops tomorrow - I did want to try for something a bit more funky and different to what I normally wear. That's not to say I don't appreciate everyone else's input - if I can't pull off funky I can use some of the other suggestions - heels etc. Ta v much, all.

seriously, the boots look terrible with all of the outfits. i don't care how old or how cool MotherFunk is, it's not winter out there as of yesterday. you'll feel like someone's mum in boots. (although they are nice boots, i should stress).
