How do I decide?

So... I ordered myself a present in the Coach sale. I ordered a couple cps I wasn’t sure about colours. They arrived a few days ago but the problem... I 💕 them both!!
The ‘berry’ is lovely. Exactly my kind of colour. Fantastic colour. I get it out of the box and think perfect bag for me.
But then I get the pale pink one out-no idea of the name- it’s just gorgeous. So pretty. Beautiful. Love it. Too summery?
So wise fashionistas of mumsnet, what are your thoughts.

Have you tried them both with your main coats/jackets? Both are nice but it might be one fits more with your current wardrobe?

I personally like the berry, I think it looks more expensive.

Ooh difficult one! I think I agree with the pp who said the berry looks more expensive so that's the one I'd keep if it really wasn't possible to have both.

The pink is pretty, but it kinda gives of a Michael kors vibe.

The berry is much more classic and IMO will wear incredibly well.

Lay out your 5 most worn outfits and see which goes with most. I prefer the berry and agree it looks more expensive for what it's worth

Clearly a summer bag and a winter bag.

Have you thought about just pondering about this for so long that you go past the date of no returns?

Berry is much, much nicer. Sumptuous looking, and a sophisticated shade. Will lift most outfits, especially in A/W.

The pink could be a lovely summer bag, but it’s harder to get it right. You would need to plan your outfits well to make the most of it and to avoid it looking cheap.

If you can afford it, and truly love them both then keep them both.

If you only want to keep one please, please make it the berry.

Also I would not have such a big leather bag in the summer so the pale pink is out on that count too!

The berry does suit my wardrobe the best I think, for a day to day bag. It would go with much of my clothes.
The feltbthat the pale pink was v summery and I would use it less often. Maybe I should buy a smaller bag in the pale pink ( next time there’s a sale on)

By the way, I have the same bag in navy. Its a great bag and has stood up well to some not gentle treatment.

I prefer the Berry but agree ones sort of for 'autumn/winter' clothing and the other is for spring/summer. I expect they'd not have been reduced if they weren't seasonal colours so it's a good thing really!

I'd keep the Berry, you'll get a couple of months use out of it now and then all next autumn and beyond, plus it's a gorgeous shade! Im very much an autumn clothes person though so there is a bias
