I had it done in October no noticeable difference yet, i had a special offer from, Groupon, i wouldnt pay full price for it
I paid an extra £50 for neck doing as well
Try it with Groupon offer if you decide to try it, offers still on

I just had it done today on my saggy jaw and double chin. The lady gave me a radio frequency skin tightening facial afterwards so I can see some pretty impressive results immediately. Apparently the best results are in a bout three months time so I am interested to see if things look even better then.

FlossyFlara · 11/01/2019 21:24

HI Floppybit good to hear you are pleased with it. was it really painful ? and have they recommended any more sessions ?

It was strange as there were areas where it didn't particularly hurt (fat under chin) and areas where it really did hurt (bone along jaw), but on the whole it was totally bearable and over quickly

floppybit · 11/01/2019 21:57

Basically the fatter bits hurt less. The woman who dad it showed me some amazing before and after shots where she had zapped away saggy skin and stretch marks on mummy tummies!

princessTiasmum · 12/01/2019 00:05

FlossyFlora i had only one session, but i was told it takes a few months to show any difference, it might be working but not seen it yet, i would rather have something that shows immediate results,
It didnt hurt at all, i think its similiar to Ultherapy but doesnt penetrate as deep, also tried Promax which someone on MN said was good, that didnt work either, waste of £200 ,for 6 sessions
I had cheek fillers yesterday, they are fab, my daughter had something which was like some kind of thread lift under chin and jowls called a mesh lift,

floppybit · 12/01/2019 09:48

princessTiasmum ooh, cheek fillers, did you have them along your cheek bones to make them more pronounced or did you have them filled where they have hollowed out? Hope that makes sense.....

princessTiasmum · 12/01/2019 09:57

I had it on cheekbones to make them more pronounced, but natural looking as i have lost fat there, there are no lumps as such, just filled my face out a bit more as it should be,i dont think anyone could tell, it looks very natural, and i am really pleased, and lifted my face,
I am not young so i just wanted to look better for my age, nothing drastic
I might need a little more in one side as that side my cheek flesh has dropped a bit, on that side if you know what i mean there is a small dent in that side, but going back in 4 weeks to see how it looks then
The lady is a dentist and she was recommended,i wasnt disappointed

FlossyFlara · 14/01/2019 18:23

thanks for your input ladies.

PLEASE DONT HAVE HIFU! I had it done in March 18 to tighten my jowls and reduce my double chin and it has completely wrecked my skin. I didn’t even need it but being completely vain I convinced myself I could improved. I’m only 39 and now have the turkey neck of a 70 year old. My mum was in tears when she visited me at Xmas and agrees that I should see a private surgeon about getting surgery on it. I read the bad American reviews beforehand but thought perhaps it was different here in the UK. It took a good 9 months to come out I just pray it doesn’t get any worse.

princessTiasmum · 05/02/2019 09:36

Mistymoo i have had HIFU it has done nothing for me,one way or the other, was it definitely HIFU or Ultherapy, i have see very bad reviews about Ultherapy, but what i had was a complete waste of money, i really think a lot of these things are fads, always something that is going to make you look better, but usually doesnt,
I am so sorry you have had this bad experience, can you do anything about it legally? i would certainly look into it if i were you,
Maybe it was just done wrongly
I saw a post recently on one of these style and beauty threads, were someone who gives HIFU, said she feels like shes conning people, but cant remember exactly which thread it was on, as there have been several
It is bad enough if these things dont work, but to make your skin worse is terrible
What are you going to do?
Did you read any reviews ,or have you checked any on their website?
Where did you have it done?

princessTiasmum · 09/02/2019 21:22

Well went back for my 4 week check up,but a bit disappointed in a way, although filled my face where i had fat loss, but no noticeable cheek bones, but i think it does take a few days to settle, but still got that little kind of dent in one side, but still better than it was before, and doesnt look unnaturel so thats a bonus, but i feel it looks a bit heavy
Time will tell, i will update later when it has settled

princessTiasmum · 15/02/2019 12:23

Had my second lot of cheek fillers, absolutely thrilled, makes a huge difference and does lift my face a bit

princessTiasmum · 19/02/2019 22:13

I have added a photo of filler results on "cheek fillers" thread,if anyone is interested

11210Mill01 · 16/08/2019 18:21

I had it done yesterday I am really worried that I have made a terrible mistake my face doesn't look like me I look older not younger. Did anybody have the same as me.

11210Mill01 · 16/08/2019 18:23

Hifu is what I have done yesterday does anybody know if it can be reversed once done.

kjhkj · 16/08/2019 18:27

I had it done a couple of weeks ago. no real noticeable difference yet but that is to be expected. I'm not particularly saggy though to be fair so even a few months in I probably wont look much different to others. hopefully I will be able to tell an improvement. I had a full face and neck done.

It hurt in places. There are various levels of intensity. the lowest two I couldn't even feel. The next couple were like I had a mouthful of popping candy. The top ones hurt, like a sharp burny hurt but only for a second or two.

kjhkj · 16/08/2019 18:30

it can't be reversed. All that has been done is that hi frequency waves have been sent through your skin and heated the cells. It will then stimulate the production of collagen in those areas.

11210Mill01 · 17/08/2019 08:25

I'm with mistymoo dont get it done I had it done two days ago I look like a completley different person I dont recognise myself not in a good way and I have lost my cheeks they asked me what I wanted rather than already knowing what I needed if experienced they should know. I only wanted a tweek but they kept pushing this hifu machine even before I went they said you probably need hifu I go in holiday in two weeks I dont even want to go now they have ruined my face

kjhkj · 19/08/2019 08:22

You need to go back then to get them to sort it out or advise you further since you shouldnt even see anything following the treatment apart from maybe a bit of redness.

princessTiasmum · 19/08/2019 13:35

These people who promise miracles should be sued if anything goes wrong through their treatment
No good going back if nothing can be done
I haven't heard many good things about Hifu

horsiegirl · 06/12/2019 08:55

I had this treatment about two weeks ago. I could see immediate results in terms of skin tightening and loss of jowls.
I am looking forward to seeing the final results in three months. I have actually been delighted with this treatment. I did try thermage before but I think this is far more powerful. Also, you only have to have it once a year. I was really lucky and got a group on voucher and then paid just 89 for my neck to be done as well as my face. I am unsure why other people felt it altered their skin for the worse? Basically it just stimulates collagen big-time. Prior to getting it done I had been spending a fortune on skin creams including the famous Icelandic one and the black tea one, Called something like corset face LOL I am hoping that this will save me money on skin cream. For anyone in doubt, I really think this is a treatment that works.

princessTiasmum · 06/12/2019 09:30

That is interesting horseigirl, could i ask where you had it done, location i mean, and name of company etc,i might give it another try, just neck and jowls

Afteim · 06/12/2019 14:07

Great to hear that! I am interested as well. I would really appreciate if you could share with us the name of the place where you had it done. Also the name of the person would be even better :)))
