Here’s mine,I love mine and my wedding band, I have very short fingers so couldn’t have anything too wide.

Here’s mine, please excuse old wrinkly hands! It’s a 1ct baguette cut (I think!). I had a wide wedding band with a notch cut out of it so that both rings sit side by side, although in this pic it’s not quite lined up with my wedding ring, I’ve lost weight so both rings are now a little loose.

It’s more of a commitment ring than engagement as I have no intention of ever getting married again!
I posted recently about ‘the one that got away’ as in not buying something then regretting it later
I saw a ring a few weeks ago dithered as I couldn’t really afford it then went back next day and it had been sold
Yesterday at an antiques fair I found a nearly identical one albeit slightly bigger diamonds - no hesitation this time and I love it!

I love these threads too! Mine is a white gold sapphire and diamond Art Deco ring we found at an antiques market in Venice, and I love it.

Platinum rings, the eternity ring in the middle is my favourite. Had started to dislike my engagement ring until I put the three together, ten years on!

Here is my 2.25ct platinum solitaire. My husband inherited his great grandmothers Victorian engagement ring. The setting that it was in was very dated and didn't show off the diamond so he had it re set, now it looks like it's floating. I absolutely love it, it's got history but is personal to us.

Here the side view I am totally in love with it. Now I just want the eternity ring

I’ve had some gorgeous jewellery in my time but never had a solitaire as DM has an amazing one (59 years married to date) and I could never afford anything anywhere near!

Plain platinum band wedding ring, Platinum trilogy Emerald cut engagement ring plus a platinum cut Emerald cut eternity ring. The distance between my knuckle and finger is quite short so I wear my eternity ring separately on the other hand.

Mini Cooper yours are very similar to mine but I've always found eternity ring looks a bit much - when I've tried them on that is! Good idea to wear it in other hand (goes back to hint at DH....)!

Loved looking at all these, such beauties. Have never liked wearing rings so mine are in a drawer somewhere. Interesting there are so few coloured stones and no emeralds (unless I missed them). Clearly everyone seems to be attuned to blood diamonds which is great. And clearly it's much more worth while to buy antique/go to auction if you aren't lucky enough to have something in your family or have the spondoolicks to buy something designed for you.

The one with the three diamonds is my engagement ring. DH chose it for me and it's exactly what I would have picked for myself. I never take it off.

The other one (1ct, pear shaped) was my mum's (but not her engagement ring). I love how it looks but it's really impractical. It catches on everything. I wouldn't recommend that cut and mount at all. I tend to only wear it for "best".

I'm totally spoilt and have 2 sets - platinum and rose gold. The platinum is custom made and the rose gold are both Cartier. I change them depending how much bling I feel like wearing and will occasionally wear the Cartier bands alone.
