I am just undergoing an undies overhaul after losing a stone

and am looking at the coloured bras so pretty but must have cotton knickers so cannot buy sticky nylony matching ones

is odd okay? (I mean anything is an improvement I have been wearing a shower of bloody awful underthings)

BigHotMama · 20/06/2007 09:50

Never!

Big pants and big bra - not a good luck!

PandaG · 20/06/2007 09:52

sometimes. I do buy matching sets if I am buying a pretty bra and like the knickers as well, but often I wear a smooth cup t-shirt bra, and whatever knickers look the best under what I am wearing.

I do like matching though.

NotQuiteCockney · 20/06/2007 09:52

The matching pants are always alarming nylon aren't they ... yum ... thrush.

Cappuccino · 20/06/2007 09:52

oh thank feck

I feel a lot better now

I honestly did think I should Try Harder now I have passed the mid-30 mark

I imagined everyone swanning around all accident-ready

mine don't always match. Don't like nylon pants either. Am wearing matching stuff today though since I bought new underwear yesterday!

Bras are easier than pants though. I often find a nice bra which has thongs (yuk) to go with it or lacy pants that go half-way up to your belly-button and creep down the tops of your thighs (what do you call those?) they ain't me - or pants that give you funny lines and bulges through your clothing and so on.

brimfull · 20/06/2007 09:53

I can never bring myself to pay £15 for a pair of kaks.

so no

Cappuccino · 20/06/2007 09:54

yes nqc and if you've read any of my threads lately (I've been a bit endless on the subject) you'll know that's exactly what I'm trying to get away from

not that I ever had any nylon pants in the first place. Well I have one pair, that was meant to be sexy, but tbh, if I'm still awake at bedtime that's sexy enough

Cappuccino · 20/06/2007 09:55

mine always match. bit obsessed about it actually

think it stems from my mum saying something about never knowing if you might get run over by a bus and always to wear clean knickers...

think I've taken it a step too far though... by worrying that if I'm rushed to hospital after being crushed by a bus the doctors and nurses will actually be concerned whether or not my underwear matches!!!

MrsBadger · 20/06/2007 11:22

mine always match

I do pale pink instead of nude

lou33 · 20/06/2007 11:23

yep

bundle · 20/06/2007 11:28

well they're both black, but they're not part of a set

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 20/06/2007 11:39

Sometimes they don't match, but they always co-ordinate. Nice undies are lovely (I buy all mine at Victorias Secret in America).

Well done Cappuccino on losing a stone!

wurlywurly · 20/06/2007 11:51

never, i just about remember to put underwear on in the morning without worring that they match as well.

notthewabbit · 20/06/2007 11:52

I am wearing neither, so yes

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 11:52

they match in that I am wearing neither

notthewabbit · 20/06/2007 11:53

ROFL

Azure · 20/06/2007 11:54

Mine match colourwise but I don't normally buy the official matching pants for the bra, for the nylon reasons given. So, my bras are mostly black, white or nude and I have cotton pants from M&S in those colours. I can't bear to wear a different colour bra to my pants, though. No idea why.
