do your bra and pants match?

I am just undergoing an undies overhaul after losing a stone

and am looking at the coloured bras so pretty but must have cotton knickers so cannot buy sticky nylony matching ones

is odd okay? (I mean anything is an improvement I have been wearing a shower of bloody awful underthings)

re opening question: don't be ludicrous!

oliveoil · 20/06/2007 11:55

mine match most of the time

but that is because I get a nice bra and then 3 pants to match iyswim

OR a bog standard black t-shirt bra and wear M&S bog standard cotton strings with them

so same colour = match in my book

Darciesmum · 20/06/2007 11:55

Cappuccino i get them from Topshop mainly but Asda sell em to

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 11:56

nothewabbit - yey!
I only wear pants if 1. Its my time of the month 2. I am wearing a dress/skirt 3. I am wearing trousers that would otherwise show that I am not wearing pants

I have just stopped bf'ing and hardly have any boobs to speak of, but what I have are surprisingly well shaped still, so currently no point in wearing any then, unless I am wearing a top which needs a bit of 'something'.

barbamama · 20/06/2007 11:56

God know - all are either black or white but still rarely match for some reason.

ComeOVeneer · 20/06/2007 11:56

Mine always match now, as I recently spent a small fortune restocking my undies drawer.

Darciesmum · 20/06/2007 11:58

Well DP will be going underwear shopping next week
so hopefully he chooses nice but comfy

notthewabbit · 20/06/2007 11:59

pavlov - I just haven't got dressed yet

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 11:59

notthewabbit .

NikkiBFG · 20/06/2007 12:07

Pav...if I ever move to to Jannerland and you come over...wear kecks when you sit on my sofa please.....

Darciesmum · 20/06/2007 12:08

and Nikki

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 12:12

Nikki - LOL! ok hun...

but...how would you know .

Its not like I am incontinent
and I do wear clean trousers every day... dont just walk around in the buff!

NikkiBFG · 20/06/2007 12:13

Lol!! Only teasing Pav....bet your hubby one happy man though

Darciesmum · 20/06/2007 12:13

Pav - maybe she has a sixth sense and can sense everyone who walks around knickerless

NikkiBFG · 20/06/2007 12:15

lol at Darciesmum! My extra sense as it were is a heightened sense of touch due to my deafness....but I wouldn't be feeling Pav's arse for VPL so she is safe!!!

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 12:20

Nikki - rofl!

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 12:21

I am off to register my intention to marry or whatever its called...without undies on...it appears DP is happy with this as he is marrying me!

Ladymuck · 20/06/2007 12:21

Match most of the time, but precedence is given to wearing the right bra for a particuar top or nude pants for white trousers say. Prefer that only dh and I know that they match iyswim.

NikkiBFG · 20/06/2007 12:22

Pav - don't do any sharon stone style leg crossing at the intention to marry office will you!!!! They are usually quite staid in these places!!!

wishingfourgotone · 20/06/2007 12:23

I love wearing no knickers but dp hates me going out without any on!!!!
I tend to do when we out together with no dd(but thats whole new thread) in cinema etc whilst wearing trousers of course.

Ladymuck · 20/06/2007 12:23

Oh yes Pavlov - dh was very keen on no knickers on wedding day. I forgot of course so ended up ditching some very expensive knickers in some hotel bin.

pavlovthecat · 20/06/2007 12:33

Ladymuck - pmsl, oh dear.
Funnily enough, I am wearing bra and pants for wedding, of course matching...

Lucycat · 20/06/2007 12:37

Yes most of the time

but I went to primark last week and bought lots of funky pants (yes all cotton!) so now nothing matches anything else.

Guitargirl · 20/06/2007 17:47

This was my new year's resolution last year - managed it for a few months till I got pregnant. Then it all went to pot as none of my lovely matching sets fitted anymore and I can't afford to buy new ones. Have promised myself new underwear when I stop bf.

DeviousDaffodil · 20/06/2007 17:56

Very rarely. Gwok would destroy my underwear drawer!
