I sound like the PR for Bravissimo, but blimey, their vest tops with bra are marvellous!

Mine arrived this morning and it is so fab. Really supportive, bosom were it used to be 20 years ago, and you can bend over without fear. I did a Pilates class in mine, and several young men said hello when I wandered over the road for a coffee. And that hasn't happened for a while!
Bravissimo has taught me that if the bra is right, you don't really need the straps to hold you up, the bra does it.
Also, I thought because I was tall, I needed to extend the bra straps to their fullest extent. I now realise I only had to do this because my bra was the wrong size so my norks were inches lower than they should have been. With norks in the right place, straps are much shorter! Hooray.

Another vote for Bravissimo but haven't tried their clothes. Am quite certain strappy tops not for size 16 me with 32H boobs. No no no - need nice long sleeved things.

Gingerbear · 19/06/2007 22:43

bravissimo are my saviours at the moment. Fab Freya b/f bra that doesn't make you look like Mrs Doubtfire.
Have also 2 of their vest tops (£15 in the sale). There's a proper bra strap hooks/eyes at the back to hoik up yer norks.

love Bravissimo vest top, and justified the price as I would pay at least £20 for a bra, and £15 for a top, so 2 in one fo r £35 was a snip! I wear mine loads, and want more. I feel sexy and well supported in mine and cary myself so much better as a result.

(I'm 34E and size 16 btw)

I was disappointed with the clothes (apart from fab vests). Fabrics are not particularly nice.

EffiePerine · 19/06/2007 22:57

They do bfing bras?

prufrock · 19/06/2007 22:57

Aloha - I must have told you to get one of these at least a yera ago. they are amazing - I have about 10 by now. But don't get plain white - material is so thin it shows off every bump underneath

\Freya nursing bra . Am quite tempted if as Gingerbear says it actually gives you a bit of uplift.

yep - breastfeeding bras here.

bookthief · 19/06/2007 23:01

[[http://www.bravissimo.com/products/sale/ Bravissimo sale] - quite a few vests & swimsuits.

bookthief · 19/06/2007 23:03

Bravissimo sale even.

Piffle · 20/06/2007 15:50

the freya rosalie nursing bra is bloody ace I totally recommend it, pretty, gives good shape and it's feminine even for huge norks like mine.

CaptainCaveman · 20/06/2007 15:54

I just got my top last week! Super fab comfy. Always get my bras there - might be slightly more than some want to pay for bras but can't beat the comfort and shape their underwear gives you!

bookthief · 22/06/2007 11:50

Inspired by this thread, I took myself off to Bravissimo yesterday and bought the Freya Rosalie nursing bra and this top. Turns out that part of my norks-around-stomach problem was that I've changed size again, which really I should have known.

Went out with dh last night for a drink at our local for the first time since ds was born and felt brilliant about my shape . Totally worth the money.

It's worth having a look on eBaby btw for Bravissimo tops - quite a few listed.
