Someone else told me I had the scalp of a 15 year old actually.

(Yes,no good thing to be washing that often I know but obviously I have OCD tendencies.Better not tell you that I have occasionaly used Fairly Liquid then.)

That flexitol foot stuff is top notch.
Also Oil of Ulay 'Touch of Sun' for face (or summat)

L'Oreal Refinish face polishing system is brilliant too.

Would definitely recommend Batiste dry shampoo. It's not the regular washing that's a problem but now I have had my hair cut it looks crap unless I blow dry it under with a round brush.

Would recommend Benefit's lemon aid if you have dark eye lids like me, and dandelion blusher to perk up your skin.

Also, if you have problem skin and a habit of regularly using abrasive cleansers, I found my skin improved so much after just using Neal's Yard Lavender cleanser, either with water or lavender or orange water.

I find the wilkins sword intuition really good for shaving, especially good for 'sensitive' areas. The only razor that doesn't leave me with a rash.

ahundredtimes · 17/06/2007 16:36

Touche Eclat - very useful and incredibly effective.
Dr H - is expensive but best cleanser/toner etc I think.
Lipstick - Chanel, oh yes, everytime.
I like Laura Mercier eyeshadow etc and Nars mascara.

But I'm a ponce. So my beauty recommendation goes to Touche Eclat

I wash my hair every day but lately it's been looking bleugh
Have been using the Naked conditioner and shampoo - so called Naked because it doesn't contain SLS or other so-called nasties. Hair has looked much better so recommending this!

lou33 · 17/06/2007 17:44

touche eclat turns the skin under my eyes scaly, its not a good look for me

cornsilk · 17/06/2007 17:49

I found a brilliant shampoo and conditioner at quality save called Indola (I think) Have used it a few times just to make sure and it is great. Only 99P!!!

motherinferior · 17/06/2007 17:50

Get your lashes tinted.

snowwonder · 17/06/2007 17:57

i am with you moondog.
i shower every morning and was my hair i have never been able to just shower without washing my hair,. it just doesnt look as good and washing it seems to wake me up a bit..

i use head and shoulders every other day so no prob with my scalp.....

moondog · 17/06/2007 17:58

ctly.Seems odd to wash all over and leave yer head out of the equation.

mamapoopants · 17/06/2007 18:00

Not if it then takes 30 minutes to dry and style it!!
Time I just don't have every day I'm afraid

pollyanna · 17/06/2007 18:15

Aveda tinted moisturiser is very good.
There's a Benefit eyebrow thingie that is a sort of wax and powder mixed together - it looked really good imo. I also got a new eyeshadow from them that is very nice - shiny.
Also dermilogica dermal clay cleanser - really good everyday cleanser I think.

CuttingCod · 17/06/2007 18:17

lou me too
idont rate touche eclat

cornsilk · 17/06/2007 18:20

I have a touche eclat and it smells a bit wierd.
Clarins beauty flash balm with Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser on top makes me look almost acceptable.

CuttingCod · 17/06/2007 18:21

am trying ot make a Splinter look ( fom tmnt) really groovy

we have a tight scuedule in the morning so i get up before my girls to shower and wash my hair..
then i get them ready - i am lone parent so i have do it on my own,

i just couldnt go to work not cleansed and styled, i wouldnt feel right it gives me confidence if i know i can look the best i can (which isnt great) and i f i dont wash my hair then i dont look good- in my opinion!!!

every one is different, luckily

snowwonder · 17/06/2007 18:24

have you tried the benefit boi-ing if you dont like the toche eclat

brimfull · 17/06/2007 18:32

dd bought me this for my birthday and it's really good, very natural looking.

BishyBarneyBee · 17/06/2007 18:54

ypou have to be careful with touche eclait though - see a few women in the playground first thing with tell tale silvery white circles under the eyes where they have overdone the TE - bit like negative pandas IYSWIM

JeremyVile · 17/06/2007 18:59

Cornsilk loose powder. Fantastic and a bargain £7

ahundredtimes · 17/06/2007 19:00

lol, oh yes BBB I think I have sported that look myself from time to time.

MrsBadger · 17/06/2007 19:00

boi-ing beats touche eclat all hollow IMO

doesn't rely on freaky light-reflecting effect, is just really good concealer.

ahundredtimes · 17/06/2007 19:01

Everyone hates touche eclat. I use it down the sides of my nose though too, can I do that with the boi-ing-boing thing?

Tamum · 17/06/2007 19:02

Urban Decay eye pencils. A work of genius. I am quite impressed with Max Factor (?) Masterpiece mascara atm too.
