You're meant to look tarty on a night out.

I shall not be passing his nugget of advise on to my DCs. What a load of shite.

No you're not, but you can if you want! Grin

Regarding the tights, I wore a similar pair with a lacy skater style dress a while back. Looked fine, I thought. And, yes, the bows were showing below the skirt - can't see the point of tights like that if you hide the bows.

pippaisaidiot · 27/10/2018 11:11

What's wrong with the bodysuit and the tights ?
I am wearing a skirt too.

Agree with a pp just wear some black skinny jeans, the bodysuit and focus on the scary makeup.

MyfanwyMontez · 27/10/2018 14:27

OP, I think you will look great. I’m 50, I would wear it ( maybe I would look like the oldest swinger in town, but I care not).
I think the dangly thing between the model’s legs is a small top hat.

DontFuckingSayIt · 27/10/2018 14:40

Last time I went out for Halloween, there was a bloke dressed as a bloody sanitary towel.

DontFuckingSayIt · 27/10/2018 14:42

To answer your question, though, I quite like them. Bows at the back. For fancy dress, though, I don't think I'd dare on a nornal night.

MeanQueenHalloween · 27/10/2018 14:46

Freud would have a whale of a time explaining why that bloke thought the sanitary towel was scary.

JuneFromBethesda · 27/10/2018 14:49

To be fair, I’d find a giant bloody sanitary towel pretty scary.

adaisy1394 · 27/10/2018 14:56

Tacky!! Sorry!!

ItsAllNew01 · 27/10/2018 14:57

I'm going out in a mini skirt and bralet tonight. Granted i'm 22. But still. Go for it!

NarcolepticOuchMouse · 27/10/2018 15:35

I think you could wear them on a night out and dependant on outfit in the day too. I think they're fun, not trashy. If they had diamontes and glitter on, well that's not very classy, but as is I think they're fine. Women used to wear them at uni in the day with normal dresses and shoes and I thought it was quite cute.

Applepudding2018 · 27/10/2018 16:21

Yes fine for Halloween

redwinewhitewinegin · 31/10/2018 00:23

I saw them in a sale bin by the till at primark that says it all.
