Your underarms will be very sore rubbing against those sequins.

if that's the first thing I thought of, how fucking old am I?

Rebecca36 · 23/10/2018 15:56

It's pretty but something I think you would get fed up with fairly quickly. Nice to have for a special occasion, party or something like that. I would probably have liked something like that when I was young.

Rebecca36 · 23/10/2018 15:57

Must say I'm not fond of sequins though.

beeefcreep · 23/10/2018 15:58

I like it but would never pay that much for it (would probably only wear it once)

There are much cheaper options on asos etc

MarklahMarklah · 23/10/2018 16:00

I like it. If it were £20, I'd buy it and wear it. Even though I am not a size 10, not am I anywhere near 20.

DavetheCat2001 · 23/10/2018 16:02

I like it but I'm a sucker for anything colourful/rainbow!

Atalune · 23/10/2018 16:03

Tall and whippet thin you could wear it. But it’s very spendy for what it is!

blamethewitchescat · 23/10/2018 16:04

There's something of the Pinata about it.

MrsTerryPratchett · 23/10/2018 16:05

At any point in my life I would have wanted to wear it and looked good in it, I couldn't have afforded it.

BaronessBomburst · 23/10/2018 16:06

It's a bit Baby Spice for my taste.

MeanQueenHalloween · 23/10/2018 16:11

Looks way cheaper than it is. You'd have to be

Boatsnack3 · 23/10/2018 16:13

My 8 year old dd had a very similar tunic from asda last Christmas Grin Its cute but very expensive.

TisMeTheLadFromTheBar · 23/10/2018 16:14

I'm not a fan and Shock at the price

DisMember · 23/10/2018 16:17

It’s a rip off! Leaving aside that I’m the wrong side of 50 and unlikely to wear anything like it, a lot of the cheaper online teen shops had similar for festival season. e.g Pretty Little Thing/Missy Empire

TheWiseWomansFear · 23/10/2018 16:20

You'd have to have a body like Cameron Diaz to pull that off

TheWiseWomansFear · 23/10/2018 16:21

Also the last time I wore a sleeveless sequin number it cut up my arms

StrangeAndUnpleasant · 23/10/2018 16:32

I like it but I don't think it it looks worth £190 in the pictures. Although Monsoon is usually nice quality. I think for that price I'd rather get something from Rosa Bloom, her sequin stuff is amazing.

FabulousTomatoes · 23/10/2018 16:50

Hmmm... it’s very pretty but the shape and style are sooo basic! I don’t like the cut of the straps - it looks as if any bra straps would sit outside them, I don’t like the v back and I don’t like the shapeless middle section.

Apart from that it’s great Grin

FabulousTomatoes · 23/10/2018 16:51

Actually bra straps may not be a problem with it however the shape and style are very nineties clubwear.

BrieAndChilli · 23/10/2018 16:59

I prefer this dress and I’ve found some shoes to go with the dresses!!!

I have a lovely, muted grey sequin top. It has floaty cap sleeve things but they don't encase my arm iyswim. Those sequin bastards HURT man! Like really, really hurt.

I still wear it from time to time as I love it so but boy, do I know about it for a couple of days after.

Therefore, it's a no from me. (It would also be a no from me due to the price and the fact that I'd look a right twinkle in it!)

MaruMaru · 23/10/2018 17:14

cute but expensive

DavetheCat2001 · 23/10/2018 17:24

Actually looking at it again I do really like it.

I think I have the right body shape for it, but am probably too old to carry it off.

LikeCherOnlyTiny · 23/10/2018 17:44

I can see someone about 19 pulling it off. Either v tall and slender, or petite with space buns and face glitter.

Tbh, the petite with space buns and face glitter is me out clubbing at 19. I had a black spiral pattern lace a-line mini dress that I would wear over a silver lame slip dress, with block heel knee high lace up boots. Silver glittery ribbons tied round the space buns in big bows, with face gems and glitter aplenty on all visible skin.

So yes, I would have given that a go at 19, probably in the summer, to be worn with flat, glittery thong sandals, space buns and the kind of smile you get from dancing til dawn in a field beside some Pictish stones and going straight to a beach party.

I miss my youth.

LardLizard · 23/10/2018 17:53

Brie and chilli yes I really like that dress too
Mind you I like sequins and rainbows so no surprise
