What dresses are you currently wearing with thick tights and ankle boots?

I've got a corduroy pinafore dress that I'm cyrrently wearing to death.

I'm looking for heavy material that won't cling to my big belly. Any recommendations pretty please??

This one! I have the tall version but there’s a not tall one. It’s also in black with the floral pattern but not in tall; the tall is still quite short on me so I haven’t gone for it.

I like that fruity! I'm short but big boobed so I often get tall to compensate!

I saw some M&S dresses with thicker fabric than usual. Other than that, maybe a thick woolly number which is over sized?

Warden. I love oversize but it just makes me look fat and dumpy (mainly cos I'm fat and dumpy!)

Dizzy it's just from Tesco. I get loads of compliments though!

I ordered This one from Uniqlo this morning in the grey, dark grey and red.

I ordered the lena cord shirt dress from fat face this morning which I have high hopes for!

Seasalt are fab...The dresses have pockets and the cord lined and denim ones are really nice. I wear mine lots and lots.

I've bought a couple of bits and bobs from Joe Browns to wear with tights and boots. Also have a tartan kilt from Amazon which is great and very reasonably priced.

I have a cord and a heavy cotton tunic style from Seasalt plus another more fit and flare style.

Sorry, only just seen the above post. Joe Brown's sizing is usually pretty much spot on. I did buy a jumper last year which was massive though! The returns policy is great, so you can easily return or exchange if necessary.

Thank you very much for your reply Wotto . I have erred on the side of caution and sized up as the top of the dress I sent fitted . Good to know returns are easy.

I have loads of Joe Browns and yes to the sizing being good even if sometimes the quality is dodgy

They currently have a cord pinafore I have been eying up...especially as it is cut high under the arms...the last one I have my boobs kept escaping the bib

Joe Browns is nice but as above the quality can be a little shonky in all honesty. I bought a dress that was little more than a t shirt when it arrived! I am tall but had higher expectations than that.
