Getting my hair cut tomorrow, look at my photo and tell me whether to get a fringe?!

I'm doing this on my phone so please excuse any extreme close up of my face you get SmileGrin

So tomorrow I'm going for a graduated bob, chin length at the front and shorter at the back. Do I get a side fringe cut in or kind of side bits that soften my face or do I go for one length at the front? My hair is usually poker straight, this was when I'd curled it a bit.

You have lovely hair!, I wouldnt cut it personally it looks lovely curled.
As you are going to I think no fringe.

BusySittingDown · 04/10/2018 21:25

I would say no fringe too. You have a lovely face - don’t cover it! Smile

You remind me a bit of Tanya Burr, at a glance. I think you’d suit a similar style to hers!

MrsLettuce · 04/10/2018 21:27

Your hair is fantastic as it is. I'd neither cut it significantly nor add a fringe TBH

PurpleFlowersInMyHair · 04/10/2018 21:28

You are gorgeous and don’t need a fringe- you’ve a fantastic forehead and hairline

feliciabirthgiver · 04/10/2018 21:29

Don't cut it, it's lovely, really suits you, your gorgeous!

ArrivisteRevolt · 04/10/2018 21:30

You would look great in anything! I think a fring would be good, but get a long side swept one so you can see if you like it or if you want to go it out.

MarshaBradyo · 04/10/2018 21:32

No fringe it looks good as it is

ShackUp · 04/10/2018 21:33

Your hair is beautiful, I wouldn't cut it if I were you. You definitely don't need a fringe.

YorkiePudBornandBred · 04/10/2018 21:33

You could always get a 'beginners fringe' it's slightly longer and swept to the sides and gradually gets cut to the length you like if you decide to keep it.

Sparkletastic · 04/10/2018 21:34

I think you'd look really cute with a fringe.

notimaginingit · 04/10/2018 21:34

Oh I don’t know, if you have naturally straight hair and you get a really good cut, it will be far less time-consuming to wear it in a bob than having to go to the trouble of curling it, and I think it will look tres chic Grin
Definitely a choppy fringe - not one length - will soften it. I think those tiny fringes are very unflattering.

GingerLDN · 04/10/2018 21:35

No fringe! Or the beginners fringe like Yorker said

GingerLDN · 04/10/2018 21:35

Yorkie!

notimaginingit · 04/10/2018 21:35

As yorkie has it, a beginner’s fringe. - We’ll put.

Bluntness100 · 04/10/2018 21:37

Oh it's a great length, you suit it, I wouldn't cut it, but if you do, no fringe..

LukeSkywalkerBoots · 04/10/2018 21:38

You look lovely just as you are!

Mmer · 04/10/2018 21:39

You are gorgeous, so anything will look great on you!

YorkiePudBornandBred · 04/10/2018 21:58

Something like this. It's longer so can always be swept to the sides, or one side. Pinned back if you don't like it and it wouldn't take too long to grow out.
However if you did like it the hairdresser can gradually take it into a full fringe.
I don't have one but if I ever was unsure I would try it this way first !

tellmewhenthespaceshiplands · 04/10/2018 21:59

Your hair is lovely! Great colour. Maybe as other posters have suggested try a "beginners " fringe? If you err on the side of slightly longer you can try a bit shorter at your next cut?

EnidButton · 04/10/2018 22:27

Isn't that beginners fringe just a fringe that's grown out? It'd take about 6 weeks to get to that from a long blunt-ish fringe.

I vote fringe! A proper one.

But I think you need to look up loads of pics of them and decide what kind you want well before the night before so perhaps leave it for now and if you want a fringe cut in afterwards you can go back.

It looks really nice as it is too.

BabyGoatsInPyjamas · 04/10/2018 22:30

You're so pretty

championquartz · 04/10/2018 22:34

Oh look great. I think your hair looks great as it is. I’d spend the haircut money on some clothesGrin or cakeBlush

madeyemoodysmum · 04/10/2018 22:39

Hair fries so go for it. I nEver get this angst people have about cutting hair. It's grows! Try it. I think you will look cute.

madeyemoodysmum · 04/10/2018 22:39

Hair grows not fries!!

Truckingonandon · 04/10/2018 22:41

Noooo to cutting it. Grow it longer and no fringe.
