Getting my hair cut tomorrow, look at my photo and tell me whether to get a fringe?!

I'm doing this on my phone so please excuse any extreme close up of my face you get SmileGrin

So tomorrow I'm going for a graduated bob, chin length at the front and shorter at the back. Do I get a side fringe cut in or kind of side bits that soften my face or do I go for one length at the front? My hair is usually poker straight, this was when I'd curled it a bit.

You’re lovely looking. Don’t change anything.

Comeandhaveago · 04/10/2018 22:53

I think if you are going for a graduated bob shorter at the back it needs to be one length at the front. I just don’t think it would work with a fringe too....

I vote no fringe. I am partial to one, but I think they work best with very sleek styles, can you be arsed to straighten your hair and fringe every day? Otherwise it can end up a bit like Chas' hair off Emmerdale, half sleek half natural. I have a long bob and it takes me longer to style than any cut I've ever had. I love it though, and no fringe currently because I go for a glam waves kind of effect

You are soooo pretty !
You’d look great with either ... fringe or not - sorry not helpful 😀

Did you do it?

MidnightVelvetthe7th · 05/10/2018 11:00

Not yet, I'm booked in at 2:30, keep swinging between no fringe and beginners fringe Smile

I love a fringe but you really don't need one, you look great without.
It looks as though your hair is slightly wavy and that means straightening it all the time. Rain, humidity or sweat and your fringe would kink.
Only have a fringe cut if you have poker straight sleek hair.

Needhelpasking4help · 05/10/2018 15:59

What did you decide OP?! Biting nails over here Grin

MidnightVelvetthe7th · 05/10/2018 16:59

I went for a beginners fringe!😀😀 thanks for all your opinions xx
