Best cream/ concealer for dark under-eye circles?

I'm finding that my under eyes are getting darker with age. Are there any good eye creams that fix this?

If not, what's the best concealer for hiding them?

Revlon Youth FX is a great concealer. Small sponge tip.

I use a Bobbi Brown corrector then the full coverage concealer. The combination is nice and brightening, but it does settle into fine lines a bit though.

Benefit boing. Genuinely life changing for me. I also use a white lower lid liner.

TuathaDeDanann · 28/09/2018 07:43

Bobbi brown in a pot with a very light foundatiin over it.
Laura mercier in a pot too

SPOFS · 29/09/2018 19:48

No magic creams that will get rid of them altogether then? Sad

Mine have reduced with the estee Lauder eye cream in a small brown pot.

I've had dark circles my whole life - for me they're hereditary so no magic fix! I'm currently using NARS soft matte complete concealer - comes in a little pot and it's really good coverage and doesn't shift all day which is a real plus point. I've tried loads of concealers and the lighter liquid ones just don't offer enough coverage and wear off too quickly. The NARS one is the best one I've found so far.

Dark circles are my nemesis. Except in my case the circles are less ‘dark’ and more ‘green’.

I am currently using the fabulous Becca under eye concealer - from Space NK which is amazing. It makes a massive difference. You can use it on its own or with concealer on top.

HeyMicky · 29/09/2018 20:56

It Cosmetics bye bye under eye has been a revelation. It's so good

sexnotgender · 29/09/2018 21:02

Tarte shape tape is the best concealer. No magic creams unfortunately.

Lonesurvivor · 29/09/2018 21:07

Use a concealer with cool tones to counteract/conceal dark circles. The pink tones will hide the blue tones of under eye circles. Look for concealer with C for cool tones on it. When you're applying do so under where the dark circles are and blend from there.

I use the ordinary 5% caffeine solution for my eyes which seems to have made a difference, but I only really notice when I stop using it weirdly.

I've recently discovered Maybelline fit me concealer which is rubbish anywhere else on my face but does wonders for under eyes.

The becca one is fab. It's the one that goes under your foundation. I'm on my 2nd pot of it.

Sammysquiz · 30/09/2018 07:59

I bought a really cheapy Collection one from Superdrug and it’s brilliant! Best one I’ve used and I’ve used a lot Grin

jalopy · 30/09/2018 08:50

Another fan of Nars soft matte concealer in a little pot. Fantastic product. Wouldn't buy any other now.

udnertheradar · 30/09/2018 09:25

Yes to the Becca under eye brightening corrector

I've bought and used :
Touch Eclat
Laura Mercier
Collection dupe of T Eclat
Maybelline eraser
Revlon Youth FX
The Aldi dupe of T Eclat

I'd rebuy the Revlon FX one.

Enigmam · 30/09/2018 09:54

I have both the Becca and It Cosmetics they're both good but the it Cosmetics one just erases everything, it has a very creamy texture that stays like that throughout the day. It's taken years off me.

Lotsofsausage · 30/09/2018 11:40

I used to use touche éclat but no use the garner roll one which actually i prefer

beanaseireann · 30/09/2018 13:17

I have

beanaseireann · 30/09/2018 13:18

Oops - I have the Garnier roll on one also.
That too is good.

lindyloo57 · 30/09/2018 17:09
