Silver t-bar shoes from Clark's

I saw someone wearing these today and I LOVE them. Does anyone have them? What do you - or would you - wear them with? Are they actually a bit dorky?

I work from home, turning 40, reasonably stylish, minimal (Whistles, And Other Stories, Topshop).

I'm sorry but they remind me of shoes I had as a child but in silver

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 13/09/2018 19:17

They’re called Netley daisy, I have these and they’re divine
I’m clearly biased but I think they’re v pretty, silver can be dressed up or down

shakeyourcaboose · 13/09/2018 19:19

I had similar from Clarks back in the late 80s 'princess magic steps' they were with a key in the sole- may have to try on for the nostalgia!

CountFosco · 13/09/2018 20:59

I think they are awesome. I have a work colleague who always has great shoes and whenever I ask her where they are from she always says Clarks.

LipstickHandbagCoffee · 13/09/2018 21:07

I have these they’re v comfortable, v flattering

Churchillian · 13/09/2018 21:08

I have these and always get compliments when I wear them -they’re also comfortable and go with almost anything

AnyFucker · 13/09/2018 21:10

I love them. Are they still available ?

Nanasueathome · 13/09/2018 21:15

I have some incredibly similar but got them a year or two ago. Tbh I've not worn them much as they are a bit too flat for me. I've started wearing skinny trousers for work and was contemplating digging them out.

Previously I wore them with skinny jeans and a grey jumper.

astoundedgoat · 14/09/2018 09:34

I was thinking skinny jeans or midi skirts, and chunky jumper.

I might try them on - thanks!

And YES to the shoes with the key in the heel! I loved mine.

My dd has 3 pairs of them! She is early twenties . I would have a pair if they made them in my size

3stonedown · 14/09/2018 10:18

I kind of love them. But being very blonde and feminine looking I don't think I will look edgy enough in them, just like a little girl.

newdocket · 14/09/2018 10:42

I love them!

newdocket · 14/09/2018 10:43

I think they'd work with culottes too. Have been trying to work out what might work with these. I may have to pop in to Clarks tomorrow...

newdocket · 14/09/2018 10:43

ps does anyone know what sizing is like?

Elledorado · 14/09/2018 10:44

I cannot imagine these looking edgy but I am happy to be proven wrong. Does anyone have a pic of this style of shoes looking chic/edgy, whatever?

newdocket · 14/09/2018 10:49

I'm not convinced they are edgy but I do think they could look chic with slim fitting jeans/trousers and something pared back on top - black polo maybe.

MrsPMT · 14/09/2018 10:52

I like them, but then I mostly wear black/grey and very understated clothes, so girly little silver shoes look fine IMO. Used to have pink mary-janes and loved them for the same reason, my only feminine touch Grin

So yes agree to not wearing if you are girly enough already

Cheeseplantandpickle · 14/09/2018 11:20

I tool these to the charity shop yesterday! Couldn't make them work.

Elledorado · 14/09/2018 11:40

Tbh they remind me of shoes I wore when 5 yrs old (in the 80s).

Cyclingpast · 14/09/2018 11:42

Wouldn't it be handy to still have a little compartment in your heel as an adult? You could put your money and keys in there when you go out!

SmilingButClueless · 14/09/2018 11:49

I’d like them more without the decoration
