How many rings do you wear day to day?

I always wear my engagement ring and wedding band. The engagement ring is a 1 carat diamond set in white gold, quite a chunky setting and my wedding ring is a plain gold band.

I recently got given a really beautiful heirloom piece which is a ruby surrounded by 12 small diamonds. The ruby is probably 1 carat and the surrounding diamonds perhaps 0.1 - 0.2 carat each (I'm not good at judging this though) so it's a fairly blingy engagement style ring.

It seems a shame for this ring to stay shut in a drawer and I'd love to wear it regularly but feel it's probably a bit too flashy for wearing to work etc.

What do you think? How many rings do you normally wear?

Wear it on the other hand! I have my wedding band and diamond flower engagement ring then a gold diamond band of my nans on my other had and sometimes a gold band on my thumb 😀 I'd like something for my pinky too!

Wear third ring in right hand? Can't see anything wrong with it.

Or would you be okay with taking your engagement ring off and wearing the ruby for a more laid back look?

I wear none day to day!

I wear my engagement ring, wedding band and great grandmothers engagement ring on my ring finger. Mainly because my grandmas ring is too big so I keep it on with the other rings. Also my engagement ring is small and fairly plain so I like having something else. I also wear a thumb ring on the other hand

Ooo ok these are good answers! I worried it would look too much wearing both rings but maybe I'm just being paranoid!

I always wear a third ring on my right hand, ring finger usually. For work it's a fairly understated one but at weekends it sometimes gets upgraded to something bigger.

I only wear rings when I leave the house - wedding and engagement. I'm not a jewellery person though.

Never wear rings now. Before my divorce,I just wore my wedding ring. Sometimes.
I don't like rings,myself.

I wear my wedding ring and a trilogy diamond ring on the middle finger of my left hand. On my right hand middle finger I wear a diamond ‘daisy’ ring (large central diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds in a petal sort of arrangement) and a small gold band that belonged to my dad and on the fourth finger I wear a gold ring with small channel set diamonds.

So that’s 5 rings all day, every day and I am currently looking for a new engagement ring to replace my original one that has broken which will bring the total to 6.

Platinum wedding band daily. Some days my engagement ring. But they are tiny, thin bands as I don’t like to “notice” wearing jewellery.

One. Wedding ring. Less is more imo when it comes to jewellery. I really dislike the rings on every finger look.

My engagement ring. I wear my mum's wedding ring and my grans eternity ring on my right hand. I never wear my wedding ring, it annoys me.

I always wear my wedding ring, a narrow platinum band, and mostly the engagement ring with it (diamond solitaire). They're actually copies of my originals after I developed an allergy to the gold a few years ago). Sometimes I wear a ring on my right hand, sometimes I wear a different ring to my engagement ring, so I tend to have one, two or three rings on altogether, but not on one finger as my fingers aren't long enough for it to look right to me.

I meant to say though that these days I think pretty much anything goes, so while you might get compliments from someone like me who notices rings on other people, lots of others won't bat an eyelid. Just wear what you're comfortable wearing.

I wear engagement ring and wedding ring on left and the wedding ring tucks right up against the engagement ring. I wear similar on my right ring finger so four in total but at a glance it would look like two.

I always wear my wedding and engagement rings (wedding is a narrow, plain, platinum band. Engagement is similar but with a diamond. Very simple) on my left hand and my eternity ring (not sure of the official name of the setting but it’s 9 small alternating diamonds and sapphires in a platinum band) on my right hand. I tried wearing them all on the same hand but didn’t like the way it looked.

Wear it.

I wear my platinum wedding band and solitaire on one hand and my diamond eternity on the other hand. I know too many people who have been burgled and lost their rings to keep them in a box!

Depends on your hands.

I have small hands so just wear wedding and engagement rings and thumb ring on other hand.

Friend has elegant hands with long fingers and she wears a variety of chunky rings on all fingers and thumbs.

Just my wedding & engagement rings.

Before I was engaged I used to wear a ring on my right hand too but it looks a bit odd somehow so I took it off after I was married - nine years ago....

I wear two rings on a daily basis; my engagement ring (an eternity ring) and another ring on the other hand.
I have quite a few rings, so the other ring is chosen based on what I'm wearing, what I'm doing and what I fancy wearing on the day.
Today it's a silver Georg Jensen Savannah ring with a large rock crystal.

Wear it! It sounds too luvvverly to stay in the drawer... I wear a chunky sapphire and diamond engagement ring and slim wedding band on my left hand and a ruby and diamond trilogy ring on the 3rd finger of my right hand.

Wedding and eternity ring on ring finger. One my parents got me for my 18th on middle left.

My nana's wedding ring on middle right, and my engagement ring (which is big and chunky - was husband's ring which he had resized to propose to me) on 4th finger.

They are all fairly unobtrusive - the diamond in my engagement ring is small and doesn’t sit high at all, The others aren’t plain bands but because the stones are small, set flush into the band and the only colour is the 4 small sapphires in my eternity ring, they are fairly subtle.

I have never been a big one for rings, but I have recently seen a gorgeous pearl and cubic zirconia ring in my local jewellers and fallen in love with it. I am very tempted to buy it and wear it on my right hand. I don’t wear much jewellery so it will stand out I guess, but I love it and I figure life is too short to care whether something is appropriate or suitable to other people!

I wear three. Diamond wedding ring and e ring on my left hand and a five stone diamond ring on my right hand. I don't really take them off other than to clean them
