How many rings do you wear day to day?

I always wear my engagement ring and wedding band. The engagement ring is a 1 carat diamond set in white gold, quite a chunky setting and my wedding ring is a plain gold band.

I recently got given a really beautiful heirloom piece which is a ruby surrounded by 12 small diamonds. The ruby is probably 1 carat and the surrounding diamonds perhaps 0.1 - 0.2 carat each (I'm not good at judging this though) so it's a fairly blingy engagement style ring.

It seems a shame for this ring to stay shut in a drawer and I'd love to wear it regularly but feel it's probably a bit too flashy for wearing to work etc.

What do you think? How many rings do you normally wear?

Between 4 and 8 rings, depending on mood, clothes, occasion.
The 4 I always wear are MIL's wedding ring, DSis' ring (both deceased) and 2 witchy rings. These are the unobtrusive ones.
Then I sometimes add some massive handcrafted or ethnic ones, like kuchi rings or one I like, which is a glass globe with a miniature city inside it. I have a poison ring, too.

I don't wear any, they just irritate me.

Everyone comments when i mention my husband 'oh; I didn't know you were married'

I wear three, wedding engagement and eternity.

I wear eight rings daily over 4 fingers if I’m going out I’ll add a thumb ring. Mine are mostly stackers though aside from wedding engagement and eternity ring.

I'm going to wear it tomorrow! And probably spend too long looking at it.

Glad you're going to wear it OP. I wear 3 on my left hand on ring finger and always wear a ring on my right hand. My hand feels bare without it!

None at all. I haven't worn a wedding or engagement ring for 34 years! (married for 38), as I developed an allergy to Nickel. I wear a watch and a bracelet, but only for a couple of hours if I'm going out.

I always wear my wedding band (narrow PT sapphire eternity) and engagement ring (ca. 1ct PT solitaire). Usually I stack these with a 5 diamond band (1.25 ct? TDW) which MIL kindly gave me.

I also always wear a ring on the other hand which I change depending on mood/outfit/activities. Today it's an art deco sapphire & diamond 'dinner ring' which DH gave me the Christmas before he proposed.

I usually wear a necklace and earrings and a bracelet too. I enjoy checking out what jewelry others are wearing. If I were your colleague and you turned up with a new ring, I'd notice immediately and be eager to hear all the details.

Sometimes a huge labradorite and silver ring somewhere on my right hand - it's adjustable.

I also have a gorgeous silver story ring with a moonstone in it, and a worry ring with a twirly bit. They're from Charlotte's Web and they're beautiful.

I wear 6. Wedding, eternity and engagement ring on left ring finger, Sister ring on left middle finger, mum ring on right index finger and my husbands initial ring that he gave me on our wedding day on my right middle finger.
I'm a big jewellery person, so o also wear 4 chains, 6 earrings and something on each wrist daily as well. I'm not me without my gold.

Aww @tarheelbaby I wish you were my colleague! People where I work aren't chatty and won't start a conversation about something like that. Nobody even seemed to notice when I got my engagement ring!

I'm like you - love to admire people's jewellery! I think it comes from having an aunt with an amazing selection of rings, I used to love looking at them!

i wear 4 my wedding ring, my Mums old engagement ring that my Dad gave her on my right ring finger, a Pandora ring that my Dad gave me on my left middle finger, and a £6 ring from Sainsbury's on my right thumb haha!

Zero, I have them all in a drawer.

none, my wedding ring is around somewhere but I had to take it off when I had hot weather oedema a few years ago and my engagement ring lost its central stone years ago. I occasionally wear a blackberry quartz and diamond ring if I'm going somewhere nice

Plain silver wedding ring on left ring finger. Sapphire stone engagement ring on right middle finger. Very rarely a plain silver super-thin ring on the right ring finger.
