Hello all - new thread to keep us going for the AW18 collection.

Can you walk easily in the boots?

Back from hols and checking in! My the thread’s been busy whilst I’ve been away and I’ve only been gone a week.
Having perused the new collection unusually there is nothing I can’t live without - also cheesed off that my Hush friends has gone. It’s my birthday tomorrow and I know DH has got me Hush vouchers in anticipation of A/W. I wanted sone new Hush pj’s but neither pair inspire me especially as the star ones are the same colour way as last years lightening bolt ones.
I think I will probably order the charcoal wide jersey top and the black v one as wore last years lots. Also tempted by the print leggings and the leopard edged parka coat. I was hoping for some inspiring knitwear and sweat tops but have to say it’s all about meh... and knitwear prices seem to have gone up?

What do you think? New Look 12.99. ( I tried to take a photo wearing it but the lighting is too bright in their changing room. Comes up big. This is an 8 ! Fabric is like the v neck top. I also picked up the M&S leggingsat lunchtime.
They are really nice. Interesting to see how they look on later

Top is darker than it looks IRL and also has slightly graduated colour s in background..

@Laska5772 I've bought that New Look top too. Plan to wear to work with black trousers. Think it's good for the price.

@EachandEveryone the zebra leggings look great. Nice to see a change from leopard.

I’m not allowed to post pics yet, but will review my haul.

Suzi velour trousers-lovely fit but the charcoal colour is not for me, they’re going back, but I might get them in black.

Corin Raglan top in wine- I love it & it’s a keeper despite being £49. Would look good with the black suzi trousers.

Star embroidered hoodie- lovely pattern, very soft & cosy, but a bit thin & quite large. Not worth £65, so going back.

Leopard leggings-I love them, but I echo what someone else said. They are far too long on me & im 5’7. I got medium & they’re roomy, so wonder if small would be better & shorter??

Raven A-line jersey dress in forest marl-lovely colour & print. But a bit baggy & frumpy, so going back.

Halley dress in galaxy pine & black. This is lovely, the drape is great & the colour & pattern are fab. I know it will wash well too as I had the leonie a couple of seasons ago & that’s still going strong.

Oh & there’s a dupe of the Ronnie coat in new look for £40 & it’s lined. I didn’t try it as they didn’t have my size.

offered Hi. We are going for these M&S dupes in the leggings and they come in different lengths. I had the small in Hush and they were not any shorter

AsI love my leopard maxi so much I sprung for this one on asos; I think it is different enough to warrant keeping both! Sorry it is OOS; I managed to nab a return last week I reckon:

offred Welcome! Thanks for the tip on New Look fur coat just had a look and will definitely go to one of their branches to investigate further. I just want a fun faux fur coat and they do them in great colours (other than black)
I bought a denim jacket from them in the spring and it’s been great at a bargainous price so I reckon laska that leopard T is a winner too.

So I rung Hush and told them I wanted to cancel my order to which they said “oh it’s ready for despatch now and you should receive tomorrow” . So I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt but I warned her unless I get a shipping notification later today tomorrow I’ll call back and cancel regardless if they haven’t shipped yet. I’m very annoyed with them for taking away my Hush friends delivery how dare they

each the leopard boot kitten heel is not high and shoes are very comfy on my wide feet, if a little bit roomy which is why I had to reorder 1/2 size down so I don’t anticipate any issues walking in them. I did a kind of one footed walk with the left size 5 I received but due to broken ankle on right foot I’m not allowed to bear weight on it without storm trooper boot. Sorry!

Can you tell I’m cross with Hush?

My Boden Leopard coat arrived..I love it, it's very cosy and I think it will go with lots of things.

My only complaint is NO POCKETS but I guess that's to keep the silhouette.

well everyone, the news no one has been waiting for, hush have checked the warehouse and there are no charcoal cashmere scarves lurking so if anyone has seen any oversized cashmere preferably extra long and thin please show me the way as i've exhausted all my usual suspects.

Are you sure a out the pockets, Dave? The other colours all have slit pockets on the front.

There are pockets, but they are sewn closed.

I guess I could try and pick them but would be a bit worried that I may do some damage!

Merry have you opened the pockets on yours?

..just looked again cherries and you are right..the other colours seem to have open pockets!

I wouldn’t worry about doing damage. I think pockets are fairly routinely sewn closed till purchase, but are meant to be cut once you decide to keep them.
