I see Hush are only dispatching when the entire order is available - so if something is on back order, everything will be held at least till end of August, when they will go back to part dispatch.

neveradullmoment99 · 20/08/2018 17:36

That would really annoy me cherries and wouldn't buy anything on back order. I don't know any company that would hold back other items so they could post all out at the same time. Is it to save on postage? Seems ridiculous to me.

Talisin · 20/08/2018 17:39

As it’s currently free delivery for all the new stuff if you use the code, they’re just making a rod for their own back. People will just order individual items to get round it so even more packing to do and packaging to use.

neveradullmoment99 · 20/08/2018 17:40

Cherries has this happened to you? Just curious. There is nothing I want on back order atm.

Judydreamsofhorses · 20/08/2018 18:13

Ronnie coat update: the fit is fine, although I might struggle with a chunky knit under it, but I just don’t love it. I think the fact it’s unlined for that money is cheeky, and while it looks great open, done up it’s really boxy. I have nicer coats from Topshop and ASOS that cost half the price, and although it’s fine, and I would definitely wear it, it’s just not fabulous enough. So it’s going back.

Judydreamsofhorses · 20/08/2018 18:16

Oh, and I read a review of this collection on The Spike this morning. She said the sizing was completely different to previous seasons, and that as an 8/10 she needed 10s in everything. I suspect a lot of people will be caught out as I would have always got an 8 or small until now.

Viewfield · 20/08/2018 18:47

Quite right too Merry Wink

ilovecherries · 20/08/2018 19:01

Not to me, DD was ordering something for her holiday and as I was paying (!) there was something else going in on back order, and the message came up. Given we were also paying £6 for postage to ensure she got it before Friday, I was raging.

ilovecherries · 20/08/2018 19:02

We obviously cancelled the back order item! And to be honest, was tempted to cancel the whole bloody order!

ilovecherries · 20/08/2018 19:23

And when I say message popped up, it wasn’t a pop up before you complete the order, it was in the confirmation email, so I had to phone up to cancel. Presumably it was in the t &CS that you have to tick to accept.

Talisin · 20/08/2018 19:33

That’s outrageous, cherries! If someone is paying for next day delivery then bloody obviously they’re doing that because they want it the next day. What a total rip off - I really hope that it was just a mistake that was not supposed to apply to ndd rather than an utter piss take from Hush.

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 19:38

That is a change then cherries . Thanks for pointing it out ..
what did you get for DD ?

Well I have still been clearing out clothes . I have 5 bags to go to charity now (could ebay some but I just dont have the patience) . I have been so ruthless! ..But I still have loads of clothes!..

Am now down to 1 wardrobe, 1 chest of drawers (plus a couple of drawers for knits) and another cupboard ( which is almost double wardrobe size) ..and still havent done shoes yet Blush

And I have another order still to come! (ziggy , blue necklace and a 3rd pair of cheap Amies to dye blue) .. as well as the cashmere jumpers from JL .. I ordered both the rose tan (just to see of course !) and black and the M&S leggings..

The navy star sweat is definitely going back .. I just haven't posted it yet until i see the M&S leggings JIC i want to send the hush ones back instead (will only keep one)

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 19:41

.. The thing is what I have left are all things I have worn and loved in the last year (apart from a a few of things for special events) ..Anything that I hadn't or I thought wasn't just lovely. has been bagged up..

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 19:42

Crikey! this thread is only 5 days old and we are on 840 posts!

ilovecherries · 20/08/2018 19:58

She wanted a swimsuit and a raglan sweatshirt from the sale, which she’d been going to buy herself, but I got her to pop in a new pendant for me rather than wait for an exchange on the one I need to send back, and said she could just go through quidco and use my account as she doesn’t have one. So a mix of old and new stuff, but came to more than the free delivery level, but I thought better get NDD. We’d been talking earlier about her wanting a faux fur coat, so soft girl here told her she could just stick it on the order and if she liked it it could be an early Xmas present. Which I would have forgotten about by Xmas, no doubt! Obv the confirmation email came to me. I never usually read them, but because it wasn’t my order, I scanned it, fortunately.

EachandEveryone · 20/08/2018 20:00

Well I was expecting my parcel today and stayed in all day and, I’ve just tracked it and they said they tried to deliver it this morning. Oh yeah, without leaving a card? I doubt it. So annoying although I’m not keeping any of it.

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 20:06

I am a bit annoyed that my Winona trousers are now far too big..I will need to replace those..

ilovecherries · 20/08/2018 20:22

I bought a replacement pair in both black and navy in 10s the Xmas sale, laska. They were a bit too tight then, but I could see how things were going. Halo Will flog my 14s when I get back, I wore them a lot last winter.

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 20:41

Yes and they're £65 now Shock....Mine are a 12 in black but it doesnt look as if they can be altered because of where the pockets are .. Sad..

I will ebay those I think..

Of my stuff i have put aside a few of the nicer things to take to the Hospice 50/50 shop

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 20:43

I wasn't losing weight then (or really even thinking i could ) so didn't think of getting any replacements .. its all been since January for me.

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 20:51

They are really great trousers.. I will definitely have to replace them .. and best do it whilst they still have the preview offer I suppose .. so much for scaling down spending

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 20:56

...Actually going up just now to look in my wardrobe at the Winona size , I realise that although my clothes are still spread out over more than one cupboard, there is lots of space in them now to actually see what is there, rather than it all being crammed in .. So a definite result.. just as long as I get around to taking the bags in this week rather than leaving them in the upstairs spare room ! Grin

Laska5772 · 20/08/2018 21:32

TOTAL ENABLING ALERT (oh and sorry I'm using up even more of the thread by so many posts)

But Soy have you seen the Lea Tee? I just saw it and thought of you ... Wink (I may be wrong here, but I thought you might like it)

SoyYo · 20/08/2018 23:06

Yes laska you know me too well!
I had spotted it and it was already on my wish list Wink

SoyYo · 20/08/2018 23:17

cherries just checked my hotmail inbox, I hadn’t bothered to look as I can log in to my account on the Hush site and could see my order there. I’ve read it and you’re quite right. Because the fur coat and the twist dress are on back order they’re not shipping part orders till the end of August.
So I’ll give them hell when I call their CS tomorrow and cancel the items on back order. If they refuse to part ship the items in stock then I’ll cancel the whole order. The in stock items are well above the £50 free postage charge so they can’t possibly argue AngryAngryAngry
