Be a bit more careful if they are the star jeans as you don't want to burst the freying around the stars.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/08/2018 10:41

Enabled. Ordered the Ivy in small @Laska. That is absolutely it!!!

SoyYo · 12/08/2018 11:36

Thought about reordering and returning latest haul but I’d have saved another £10/£15 on top and I’m fed up waiting for refunds so trying hard not to visit the site...a bit annoyed I only ordered M in the jumper last night too Angry

Still waiting for acknowledgement and refund for returns made over a week ago so may write and complain to their CS next

never I have the LS tops in those colours (bought earlier in the sale too) and they’re great 👍

GinandGingerBeer · 12/08/2018 11:38

Hello, back from my holiday, which has been fab! We only went for a week but it's been just great to spend some time with the teen DS's who I barely seem to have spent 5 mins with over the summer.
So, back to reality and 10% off!
Straight in with the rose jumper and the striped Aimee's for a bargain @ £40.50 for both. That's it now! For the tenth time Grin

Ellapaella · 12/08/2018 12:36

@taybert I think the star fray jeans are true to size so you should be fine

taybert · 12/08/2018 13:02

I often do a silly thing with jeans whichever is buy a bigger size because they seem snug then realise by lunchtime of wearing them that denim usually stretches a bit and that I should have bought the smaller ones ( whilst repeatedly hitching up) So if I can get them on I'll keep them and see how they loosen up- ok to do at that price, not so much at full price!

Laska5772 · 12/08/2018 14:35

I can officially endorse the citron seasalt mac I bought. Worn it so much this weekend as we have had dgs (5) and so have been out and about in the rain quite a lot. It's a fab Mac. So pleased with it. Previously I've bought rain jackets only for some reason . It's great to have a full length one

HurricaneHalle · 12/08/2018 14:37

How have I never heard of HUSH before? Do you find their sizing to be true?

Talisin · 12/08/2018 14:49

Overall the sizing tends to be on the larger side, generally the reviews give a pretty good idea (there’s a bit of guess work involved for new stuff).

enabledlurker · 12/08/2018 15:18

Popping in to say hello and thanks for all the pics and advice.I only discovered Hush this year and I have spent far too much, am now trying bravely to resist the extra 10% offGrin
Is it me or do Hush dresses and skirts come up a bit short?

Ellapaella · 12/08/2018 17:37

@SoyYo I've returned stuff recently without ever getting any email acknowledgement- just got the money straight into my account.

SoyYo · 12/08/2018 18:36

@ella I’ve relented! Wink

SoyYo · 12/08/2018 18:48

@enabledluker great name!Grin tbh at just under 5’4” I don’t find the skirts too short and having to have the leopard maxi taken up...I guess it’s all relative to how tall you are.

laska great to hear on the seasalt raincoat 👍

never I got the jackets mixed up in fact I’d ordered and returned the other pink basket knitted jacket not the cara, sorry about that! High hopes for the lovely lemon cara then hope it suits you Wink

I’m not telling you what I got with the 10% xtra off as I don’t want to enable further but I’ll let you know if keeper or returner on arrival Smile

Laska5772 · 12/08/2018 19:08

No soy thats simply not on... you Have to tell us ! Its the Rules Wink
I also considered returning stuff and rep ordering but reallycouldnt be bothered in the end..

OP posts:
Laska5772 · 12/08/2018 19:09

Did you get that raincoat Soy ? and Cherries which one did you decide to keep in the end ?

OP posts:
SoyYo · 12/08/2018 19:52

Grin okay laska I’m telling: I ordered the Fay fringed jumper (black) to compare to the Elana fringed jumper I got this week. The Fay is black (a plus as it’ll go with so much including the leopard maxi, you know I like black)
The Elana is £12 more and I do love it...hoping I won’t keep both! Blush
Also yet another t (yellow with black stars) T and while I was there I added one of the multi strand leather bracelets (I have similar from Swarovski) because I thought the navy could be nice for work and less blingy than my Swarovski ones which I only wear off duty. And the pleated skirt with xtra discount, same size so I can justify keeping and return the more expensive one. Only a fiver off and more £ spent but once they process my returns I’ll regret if I hadn’t.

I haven’t ordered the Seasalt (yet) but probably will when bank account recovers. I don’t want to think about winter/rain! 😑

neveradullmoment99 · 12/08/2018 19:52

Well I was in John lewis today and I have to say I was not inspired. Cherries It was the one in Glasgow in the galleries. Well actually I didn't buy anything at all. Nada. Quite unlike me. But then I knew that there was 10% off things online so really wasn't going to bother esp since some of the stuff in store wasn't even reduced. It was nice to see things in the flesh but I was really surprised how cheap some things looked. I picked up the gorgeous red jacket that you have cherries cant remember the name and in JL is was so crushed it literally looked like a rag. I saw lots of the items in RL but very few things were reduced in store. Strange as they are reduced on the JL website.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/08/2018 19:53

I had my reversible seasalt jacket on today - sunny side up :) [yellow of course]

neveradullmoment99 · 12/08/2018 19:54

I actually saw a gorgeous seasalt parka. It was lined with fur at the top and it was a similar colour to yours Laska Loved it.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/08/2018 19:58

www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/clothing/jackets-coats/plant-hunter-quilted-waterproof-raincoat_oak.htm

Absolutely gorgeous in real life. Much nicer than depicted.

Laska5772 · 12/08/2018 20:14

That's nice never I find though with coats that I never really need a padded one, . Could be because we are Deep South or being post menopause Grin .. Last time I wore my padded down coat was about 4 years ago in Copenhagen in the snow ! (it was proper Baltic chilly though, the sea was frozen ) . I just tend to wear the same type of thinnish waterproof coat /jacket and layer underneath if I need to

Soy that's nice , they say it comes up very small , what did you go for,? the only thing is that sis cotton, I've gone off it for knitted things takes forever to dry ... broken ankle could be v bad for you if it leads to too much spending money from the sofa! but look who's talking

I have one more thing I'd quite like to possibly grab if it comes back in my size .. in the shorts department still..

OP posts:
SoyYo · 12/08/2018 20:21

You’re totally right there laska!Blush I’m having a bit of a wobble, if you pardon the pun, with my busted ankle...
I’ve also got a crazy week ahead, the negotiation I was supposed to do F2F in Latam is quite a marathon lasting 4 days. I’ve still got to do it. Remotely via Skype...it’s quite a complex contract and due to the time difference it’ll go into 10pm every night. Wish me luck!

Laska5772 · 12/08/2018 20:23

Laska5772 · 12/08/2018 20:25

I have looked at that yellow star T for a while also, but I have enough t's I really do ..

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 12/08/2018 21:12

Away back at the beginning of the season, I ordered the yellow tee with the stars. Maybe it was marred by the fact I had ordered a few things and had to send stuff back but I decided it was a bit see through for me and the yellow wasn't as nice as the love jumper. So returned. But at 15 quid...well...you would be mad not to take a chance. I had it in my basket and then decided on the pale blue slub. It is a bit of a bargain though.
