Madonna is 60 and I haven’t got a costume

How did that happen? The 80’s were my era too, although I’m 10 years younger. We are going to her birthday party in Vauxhall Tavern so, not her actual party then

Anyways it’s fancy dress. Dress as a Madonna. I’m still post surgery I didn’t think I’d be going but now I’m thinking I should make an effort. Obviously, they are going to be some fabulous drag queens there and everyone will look brilliant. What can I do? I have limited time and I’m huge on top and I have swelly belly. I don’t want to spend loads of money has anyone got any ideas?

Get an Argentina football kit and go as Maradona? Could you go as a song title rather than copying a Madonna outfit?

Red airhostess outfit - like a "Virgin"

Trashy vest top
Lurid pink bra
Some rubber bands from vacuum cleaner on your wrist
Hair all wild and scrunched up in a srunchie (or pair of knickers )

Huge earrings
Not sure what you'd wear on the bottom half though - hareem pants?

How about her gothic phase? Google "Madonna Nothing Really Matters" and go gothic. Long black floaty dress, get a bone straight black wig, pale foundation etc

This is my hair blow dried normally it is corkscrew curls. I’m not small framed so don’t want to look odd next to my yoga bodied friend who will no doubt turn up

Probably the easiest look to do is 80's Madonna, Rara skirt, 3/4 leggings, bangles, messy hair. But probably everyone else is doing that look
