Madonna is 60 and I haven’t got a costume

How did that happen? The 80’s were my era too, although I’m 10 years younger. We are going to her birthday party in Vauxhall Tavern so, not her actual party then

Anyways it’s fancy dress. Dress as a Madonna. I’m still post surgery I didn’t think I’d be going but now I’m thinking I should make an effort. Obviously, they are going to be some fabulous drag queens there and everyone will look brilliant. What can I do? I have limited time and I’m huge on top and I have swelly belly. I don’t want to spend loads of money has anyone got any ideas?

Has to be low budget!! That’s the trouble since I put weight on it lessens my options.

The thing about the cone bra, is it's funny. And the less Madonna-shaped you are, the better.

You could always wear your weddding dress( if you have one) and writhe around the floor.Job done.

Or you can go as The Madonna aka mother of Jesus. At least the outfit would cover all bits you're worried about

With that hair Madonna don't tell me - plaid shirt, jeans, western buckle belt (charity shops good for this), cowboy boots, cowboy hat (pound shops often have these for hen do's). Easy.

I’m can’t now that I’ve heard my cousin has ordered a load of black net and booked a hotel room to gesee ready for the day.

I literally have £30 to spend on this. Maybe I should do 80’s Madonna as it was my era. Anyone seen any good looks without having to walk in heels or get my scarred belly out? I’d be greatful for any links.

I'd totally go as a Renaissance Madonna just because it would amuse me.

Probably the easiest look to do is 80's Madonna, Rara skirt, 3/4 leggings, bangles, messy hair.

That's what I'd do too - plastic bangles etc from claires, backcomb hair and bob's your uncle!

Just wear a Madonna t shirt and a wig.

Black trousers and top, short jacket, ankle boots, a few long chains and bow in your hair. You're worrying far too much. Everyone is going to look ridiculous.
