They are a bargain soy @£40 reduced from £149 Shock Really? that price!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 16:38

Yes I agree. I shoved on the socks in the picture but they are way too big on me. Will try with a different pair.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 16:39

Keeping the star jeans. £25 is too good to pass up. Also the harems. Debating over the shoes [although at that price …] Returning the gazelle shift dress.

Ellapaella · 02/08/2018 16:40

Pretty trainers never. They look nice and love the very intricate pattern, colour will be very versatile.
Agree they would be better with the sock trainers that you can't see though - the ones that just cover your heels and toes.

Gazelle??? ha ha..Giselle.

SoyYo · 02/08/2018 16:41

OMG that’s a bargain! They do look like £100+ trainers too, the leather work is superb. But you do need to make sure you’re 100% comfy in them otherwise they’ll look at you reproachfully and only make you feel guilty...at least you’ve got some definite keepers in the parcels and whatever you end up returning will just make your 😇 brighter Wink

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2018 16:41

Nice trainers - agree they need no socks, or invisible trainers. Might also perhaps look nice with nude fishnets, maybe with culottes or rolled up jeans.

SoyYo · 02/08/2018 16:53

Remus you’ll love the Hush comfort (beginning of slippery slope let us leave you in no doubt about that) and like your suggestion of culottes or fishnets: never would have thought of fishnets with them but it could be a really interesting combo with the leather cutout shoes...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 02/08/2018 16:57

Lol - have got some of the ruched skirts already, so know all about the comfort! Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 17:01

I like culottes. I have a pair of work ones. No casual ones though. They look nice with my crop jeans. I tried them. Definitely no socks on show. Where to I get invisible trainer socks? Need to google. Any links?

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 17:34

Star jeans. Like themSmile

Never as they are cutwork aren't they meant to be worn without socks? (also not much good in the wet).

I've just worn my blue Brayebrooks down the post office!..
( I must spray them before I wear them again) I think Hush trainers are big, both the blue and nude ones are roomy on me (above the top of foot . I am going to get leather insoles from Timpsons for mine, as the back of the heel does come up a little bit bit high .

So what have we all got coming tomorrow then ? Grin I have scarf and maybe the dark jeans .And hopefully a mac? . I have had an email , I have just seen saying that the blue Porthchapel Mac was now out of stock.. Am hoping they have sent the citron one

Laska5772 · 02/08/2018 17:40

oh I am late to the arty ..didn't notice the last page.. jeans look good never. but I know i have made the right decision in sending mine back.. The dark ones if fit (although more expensive) will be more useful in my wardrobe.. .

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 17:41

Im not sure if they are meant to be worn without socks but in my experience it makes trainers stink. Even with the holes it might be a bit pongy and ruin them.
The rain isn't an issue. I will wear them regardless. They wont be for winter but can be worn on days like today when I hop in and out of the car. Similar considerations to when I wear sandals.

Laska5772 · 02/08/2018 17:43

Try the Brayebrooks never ? Same price.. and not holey (so more versatile for Scottish weather) . I am pleased with both colours esp at the price.. The Dune ones were only £6 cheaper and the quality was not half as good.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 17:43

Well I ordered the scarf laska [yip laska enabled]
...and the beige leather skirt. It was so cheap. I think I need help....

neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 17:53

Or soy enabled!!!
The Brayebrook trainers are nice but not for me. I don't tend to wear light coloured trainers. The blue are gorgeous but i know I wont wear them. I know the cutwork ones are light but I only like them because they are so different. I also think they will look nice with lots of skirts/dresses/harems/trousers because they are delicate looking.

Ellapaella · 02/08/2018 17:59

Are you near a Primark never? Because they do the best trainer socks - they are denier with lace boys that giver your toe but they don't budge an inch and don't slide down like virtually all other trainer socks do.
I can pick you some up next time I'm passing, might pop by next week if I get the chance.

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 02/08/2018 18:00

Lace bits rather, not boys!!!

Ellapaella · 02/08/2018 18:00

Star jeans look great.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 02/08/2018 18:05

Thanks Ella. I have one not too far from me so just might pop in. They sound fab.

SoyYo · 02/08/2018 18:15

Yes I was going to suggest that type of sock too (I got mine as a multipack from Boots) but got distracted by pesky work...btw on work I just received a nice email from my global VP thanking me for the leadership in recent Latam trip Blush I’m grateful it was noticed! Made myself sick with the pressure and 2 weeks non stop workload...only to go repeat it all over again next week!

I like the jeans on you never and good call in the scarf 👍 you won’t regret it. As theonly said it would also make a lovely present...

I do like your cutout leather shoes...I really do. Must. Stop. Looking. At. Them

dontcallmelen · 02/08/2018 18:19

Liking the star jeans, the trainer pics all look great & are a complete bargain, my 😇 is well & truly polished I have a pair of Stan Smiths & don’t wear them very much, so I think I would be just buying the hush trainers because they are such a bargain, caro top being sent back & still humming & ahhing bout the Hollie jeans, really really need to try & rein in the spending as I, clothe dgd at the moment due too dd having to give up work due to her health.

dontcallmelen · 02/08/2018 18:21

@Soyo glad you have had some appreciation, your work sounds exhausting.

SoyYo · 02/08/2018 18:29

Yes melen my work is exhausting I’m just having a small break this week because I got so poorly and most of my FR colleagues have gone on their month long August hols so they’re leaving me in peace. As I said it won’t last, and I do disappear off this thread sometimes weeks on end when things get tough...grateful for the breather even if wallet is groaning Wink

What is making you hesitate on the Holly jeans??
