There was me wondering if it would make up for my missing unsociable hours!!!

I’ve had my hair done at least that looks nice.

I was asked where I got my leopard skirt :).

each, one of the advantages of having no hair is no bloody hairdressers to deal with. In my (ever deteriorating) regrow periods, they ALWAYS try and flog me some miracle potion, or insist on putting something on it to ‘thicken it’ which turns out to have cost 15 quid when I come to pay. I’m like ‘what part of auto immune disease do you not understand?’ And don’t get me started on the bloody supplements etc that everyone on FB claims will work a miracle. If sodding juice plus was the answer, do they not think I’d have taken it. Mind you, my poor dd, who has a genetic condition, is also always getting told that if only she would go vegan/drink green juice/take essential oils etc she’d be healed. Aye, right. Phew. Bit of a rant there ;)...

I know they must see us coming a mile off. My thyroid is really playing up plus my lack of ovaries!!! I feel like I’ve aged overnight my joints are really bad. I’m taking bloody green lipped muscle tablets, magnesium, vit d, fish oils, menopace and it’s made no difference. And acupuncture as well. I’m very gullible Grin

Speaking of hair, I am v proud of my DD. She turned 19 last month and today we took her to get her hair cut so we can donate 16 inches to Rapunzel Ponytails (an organisation that makes wigs for children with alopecia). DD had considered doing it a few years ago but gave into the teen temptation of needing her long hair, which I understood. It has never been coloured or treated so it is perfect for donation.

Anyway that was just a proud mum moment :)

Today I wore my size 12 boyfriend jeans (dithering whether to keep or sell my 14s, not sure I would get enough money to cover postage outside of Ireland as they are very heavy!)

Cherries that must be so frustrating for both you and your DD. I have a friend who has various auto-immune issues and is always so frustrated by people offering so called helpful advice. :(

Ach,was just having a whinge Smile. Was annoyed as DD working so hard to get her strength back after her recent surgery and a friend was trying to flog her one of those network marketing supplements then when she said thanks but no thanks, friend gave her the whole ‘dont you want to get better’ line. I’m usually much more laid back, just got really pissed off this afternoon.

I found you...sorry for the silence but the 12 days in Buenos Aires were exhausting...got back Sunday having caught a nasty virus and suffered on the long flight back.
To cut a long story short I’ve got a double ear and chest infection, on antibiotics and inhaler (yes really) strict rest orders from Dr but work is unrelenting so still working (albeit from home) and I have to go back and do it all over again on 10th August!!
Still I did wear some Hush winter favourites in BA and very useful they were too, including the Lacy jumper from the sale (thanks for the recommendation laska)
I might have a wonder to the Hush site before long as I feel I’m owed a reward for all this hard work...Halo

Gutted that I missed the leopard maxi. It’s very me and all gone again. Sigh. I hope you bought one Ella (and hate it - I’ll buy it off you)!

@PorpoisefullyObtuse no I missed the boat.. spent too long deliberating and suddenly all gone! The size 8's can have only been available for about an hour.

I'm still contemplating the peyton shirred dress at the moment. I've liked it for ages but keep worrying that if this weather doesn't last I won't get to wear it much. But potentially we could have another 2 months of sunshine yet. Anyone got this dress?

Morning, husheetas! Another lovely day here in the north east. I could get so used to this. What is everyone wearing today? I’m wearing Marseilles shorts and the starry white tee. I also followed the birkie love like a sheeple and ordered a pair of Arizona’s (softbed) from the Schuh sale. Hoping they arrive today, and that I can actually wear the things!

I loved that skirt but realistically I wouldn’t get any wear out of it as I’m in uniform for work and no holidays this year!

Postman has just brought my Lacey jumper, but won’t be trying it on till after my night time shower as currently covered in (you guessed it!) suncream! Also have a few neck tees in large and medi7m, need to decide which size I want.

Cherries i love the lacey jumper( far too hot to wear it now..) It isnt too short on me but ues shorter than most of their knitwear. Theres a bit on BBC news website today about suncream and the amount people are using

Finally decided I need the frayed star shorts and of course they’ve now sold out. Back to checking at 8:30 every morning I guess.
