Starting here! Hello all

Never I love the caro top and the maxi on you. I really like the black top but it is quite short - for me personally it would mean I'd be limited to what I wore with it, it is very petty though I agree!
Cherries thanks - I'll go to Eldon Square next weekend. I have a colleague who is obsessed with bra sizes and she's been telling me for ages she doesn't believe I'm a 36!

Its lovely and is a beautiful colour. Its very comfy. Its a nice material. No idea why someone said they thought it was cheap in the reviews. I like it a lot. Its a great price in the sale.

I have already put it in the box tbh. It is very pretty but like you said Ella, its very limited to what I could wear with it as the waist would need to be high or it would be like a crop top. I tried it with a cami. Its ok with it under it but its a lot of money for it not to be perfect. Why the hell did hush make it SO short. They are really terrible for spoiling beautiful tops. This could have been made so much nicer if they had made it longer and less 'baby doll' Just coming down from the bodice. Its is a real shame.

@Ella. No way are you a 36! I used to measure similarly. I reckon, like cherries said, I would probably fit a 30 but my cup size is large - E. I measure 31 in the ribs but size up to a 32 as I hate bras that are tight. Sometimes I adjust my cup size depending upon the style. I may sometimes by a 32EE or an F.

Hush’s Liv dress is included in The Guardian’s Tunic dresses for a Heatwave list. Although I wouldn’t avtually call any of them tunics or wear them in the weather we’ve been having.

I agree, I saw that article and thought it had been written two months ago as ‘dresses to cheer you up during another crap summer’ and they found themselves having to change the headline at the last minute.

I’m actually having lustful thoughts about going to London for the day and walking down Regent Street to visit Cos, Uniqlo, Other Stories and Arket, with a quick detour via Me&Em.

Does anyone remember a Trinity and Susannah episode where they disguised themselves and went to different shops for bra measurements? They definitely went to M&S among others. They were different sizes in ALL the shops. They advised to forget about what your actual measurement is and instead try on every bra before buying.

Got my star shorts - love them! Have paired them with the green Que Sera tee today. They are slightly longer than they looked in the picture and because the turn ups aren’t stitched, I can have them longer still if I want. Still slightly narked they’re the same sale price as the jeans they’re a cut down from though!

I agree its an unfair price considering the jeans. I have them. I find them true to size and are quite neat on me but I still like them and they do bag out with wear. Same as the star jeans.

In fact, I just realised that I have most of their denim shorts.
I have the denim turn up short ones - boyfriend shorts.
I have the denim turn up longer ones - bought last year.
I have the black frayed ones. One of my favourites. So comfy.
Also the star ones but down the side - so comfy too.
I have the frayed star shorts like the jeans with raw edge. I like them better slightly turned up.
Its sadly too rubbish to wear shorts here. Too wet. Have my whitestuff cropped jeggings on and M&S v back and front vest top that laska recommended. Its such a useful top. The only hush thing I have on are my metallic birqenstock esque sandals.

So placed a little order this morning. Brought on by the fact another Grecian top came into stock to add to my collection. The diamond pink one which I was wanting. Ordered the skirt - chambray to try [The one laska has] and the new tile print dress in red. Not keeping just trying and returning unless they look great. Only thing planning to keep is the Grecian top. The rest I will try on for fun and return.

No cutwork tops in Hush in our JL never so I couldnt see if the 8 was much shorter than the 10 for you never
I am on boat back now having only bought a new kettle! Did see some shoes i wantedbut not in my size.. TBH the clothes offer in J L not v inspiring .roll on A/W collections! . Ill have my Ts waiting for me when I get home though..

Oh the tile print dress is the Aurelia dress. I have loved the print but unless the weather resumes here as HOT, it would be a waste of money and not sure if I could be bothered keeping it for next year as there will be other things. I would really need to love it.
So decided to return the black top. Have also ordered the black Portobello top as I was so disappointed with the cut work one. Its a 10 and my other one in white is an 8 so may just be too big anyway. Not sure I really want two tops the same but I thought I would add it into my bag. So that's that. Will update tomorrow on how I get on with my order. As for the other things - yellow macramé dress returning. Too yellow and although lovely and fine on the beach or abroad I wont be going until next year. The yellow cami I got a mark on it when I was trying on so ended up keeping it. Its a pretty yellow. Just like custard. Think its called custard actually. So keeping - leopard skirt, white embroidered vest top in white which I returned before going on holiday and re ordered, the yellow cami top , caro top.

Laska I know....I hope they fit horribly - sort of

I just really like black and white gingham never blue and white = school dress ! ( well ours were blue and white!) ..
I do have some blue and white gingham pedal pushers though !!

I liked the yellow cami even though I didnt keep it (i have other yellow vest tops )
