Starting here! Hello all

@redtulip12 no I'm not sure at all! Since following various threads on here I'm starting to wonder whether I've been wearing the wrong size for years. It just seems so complicated and I can't really work out how to measure properly!

I heard something on women's hour this week about how stores don't measure people properly but they didn't really say how to actually do it. Quite frustrating really.

@Ellapaella it is a minefield but basically they say measure under bust and that should be your band size. No adding on 4" anymore. I think this website is meant to give a good starting point.

Its fairly comfortable. It is a minimiser.
Agree with the new measuring btw. Before this, all bras never fitted me right.

You prob dont need something so heavy duty if you measure smaller though.

Re bras, consider that I’m a 32 - and if they did my cup size in a 30, I might actually get away with that. Ok, I look much bigger because I’m in a K cup, but even so, I don’t think for one second that I’m smaller than you round the rib cage. I’d pop into Bravissimo (there is one in the Eldon centre) and ask what they think. They ‘measure’ by eye and by looking at how your current bra fits.

Thats good to know. It is wide rather than long. Its so expensive and its the price that puts me off so its good to get others opinions.

I would try the 8 then..I dont want to put you off if you love it, but I think for the price (it is expensive) , it would have to be perfect ... I will look out for them in JL ...

I am happy for the honesty. My heart loves it at the top. My head says isnt worth it, not the best shape and i need to work hard to fit it into my wardrobe.
