These are my wants:
sinks in fast and no greasy film for ages
hardly any smell
deeply moisturises so nothing too watery (I'm old!)
under a fiver-ish (I get special stuff for birthdays etc.)

I have just bought Aveeno with almond oil. I know Aveeno gets a good review on MN but in all honesty is smells weird- like porridge (oats.)

I used Neutrogena for years and like it except it doesn't sink in- leaves a greasy film, tacky on the skin.

I've just bought Palmers shea butter one and it stinks- far too perfumed. (I don't like their cocoa butter for the same reason.)

Get the Nivea one in blue bottle that has a pump

Another vote for Superdrug Vitamin E . It is often on offer where you can get a second one half price

Body Shop White Musk L’Eau body lotion. Very light, fresh fragrance. Absorbs easily. Lovely.

Nivea body lotion

Nivea soft. I have the same sort of requirements & keep coming back to this one. In all supermarkets & tubs of various sizes.

The aldi one is revolting imvho. It's thick, doesn't rub in and sits there like an oil slick for hours making you feel all tacky. Mine went in the bin.

I like this garnier one.

I've just started using the Vaseline one in the yellow bottle - I think it's the essential healing one.

It's brilliant. Quite thick but rubs in easily and my legs still feel moisturised in the evening.

Would recommend
