On BBC news channel now, giving Trump the pomptastic palace treatment. I hope I'll glam it up like that in my 60s.

I can only find one pic of TM, but the dress is superb.

I agree she looks great, wish it was for a different occasion. On the news earlier sure was monochrome in silver and grey which I also thought she rocked.

She had a blue skirt at the Nato thing yesterday that looked tight to walk in, yes shame she has to entertain him

So pleased that she has got something so right! I want her to succeed, sometimes just because she's female doing an extremely tough job. And though I'd disagree on some points with her policies, I like her for enjoying clothes. Better than Mme Macron, because TM is (whispers) a bit Barbie.

I don't disagree with her on some points, I hate her government and her policies... (though I appreciate her softer brexit efforts I suppose). But I can't help admiring her style and guts, and I love her outfits. The split is amazing - it's high, really high, but works with the dress and isn't actually revealing anything it shouldn't. (Well so far :o)

Yes it's galling that it's for Trump's benefit but I wonder if what's actually going on for her is that she wanted to glam it to the max to give herself confidence and stature, and not feel cowed by him.

She does look fabulous. She really knows what colours suit her.

I think Malania looks like big bird but I suspect my judgement is coloured by her husband being an ignoramus.

She wants and needs a statement outfit to declare that she is in the chair. This dress does it, and it suits her brilliantly. Melania is a high roller style wise, so TM has aced it here.

TM is tall & slim, which definitely helps, but she still,looks fab. She has always been very interested in fashion and must spend a fortune on clothes & shoes.

I don't like it; high neck and no sleeves barely suits anyone. And she has terrible posture.

Melania looked stunning but by GOD they are quite the most miserable couple I've ever seen. Their misery streams from them constantly.

I can't stand the woman or her nasty government but she looks bloody fabulous here.

I sort of love TM for having that slightly awkward posture but thinking what the hell and dressing fabulously anyway. That's inspiration for me!
