Just as an aside, these aren’t my photos, i screenshotted them from google images, and don’t know to whom they belong.

OllyBJolly · 11/07/2018 22:51

Stunning dress on you. I'd take care not to detract from it with elaborate accessories

Have a lovely day

FreeMantle · 11/07/2018 22:58

First thing you see is tits. I would focus on hair and flowers so you really see the whole dress and you.
It's a great dress - don't let it wear you though. Make sure your character shines through.

Skittlesandbeer · 11/07/2018 23:43

I agree no jewellery, except for 2 bits. Art Deco comb, and an Art Deco watch. It is useful to have a watch on the day, and there are gorgeous Art Deco styles around. They double as bracelets.

Congrats!

AlwaysTheEnd · 12/07/2018 00:10

Agree with everyone (almost) that you should keep everything else simple.

Pearl drop earrings and a sparkly something in your hair sounds nice.

The dress is really lovely.

OutComeTheWolves · 12/07/2018 07:42

I'd go for a birdcage veil so it doesn't hide any detail in the dress.

QforCucumber · 12/07/2018 13:18

Thank you all soooo much! These suggestions are amazing, I'm literally writing them all down as they come.

I'm actually booked in to remove the tattoo as I hate it so should be gone by February.

There will be no bra don't worry, but the dress needs taking in a size and up quite a chunk so had to wear to try on as otherwise I was saggy (Thanks breastfeeding)

It is so flattering, made me feel amazing, enhanced my figure in a way I never thought just a dress could - I want to wear it and show it at its best!

Bearbehind that visible layer was just a fold in the underskirt, I took the photo before sorting it all out properly - got too excited!

Gorgeous! I got my hair accessory and jewellery in Debenhams, really good value compared to what other places cost.

I highly recommend Blossom and Bluebird on Etsy for veils. I had a single true chapel lengths one that was completely pain tulle -
I had a small wedding but a very beaded dress so didn’t want to cover it up. The owner will suggest what she thinks will go best with your dress and will send you fabric and colour samples.

CatRen27 · 12/07/2018 13:26

Nothing useful to add, but it looks beautiful on you! Gorgeous choice 😊

BethanyCourt · 12/07/2018 15:21

I second what someone has said about Debenhams for the hairpieces/side tiaras. Have a look at their Jenny Packham ones for some really nice Art Deco pieces- they aren’t badly priced either.
I was the same as you, had a lovely amount of detail on the back of my dress so wore my hair up in a loose/ messy bun and then we added some flowers from my bouquet into it. Wasn’t necessarily planning the flowers but they looked so good on the day!

TakeAChanseyOnMe · 12/07/2018 15:33

I wore belly button covering nude pants on my wedding day - practicilaity before sexiness! DH was not impressed but he was asleep within about 2 minutes of returning to our hotel despite not even being drunk. Grin He’s having his first experience of a giant Irish wedding next year, not sure how he’ll cope!

knickerbockergloryy · 12/07/2018 16:41

Stunning! Speaks for its self it doesn't need much at all! Hair up and some small earrings is all I would wear :)

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 12/07/2018 16:52

Gorgeous dress, congrats op.
here’s some styling ideas

crimsonlake · 12/07/2018 16:56

Because the bodice so ornate definitely keep accessories simple so as not to distract from the detail of the dress. Pearl earrings and maybe a silver chain? Good luck, you will make a beautiful bride.

Chanelprincess · 12/07/2018 17:16

Hair styled to the side and an Art Deco hair comb.

I agree...with a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choos Grin

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 13/07/2018 10:13

Lovely dress. There’s a lot of detail in the bodice and back so, I’d say hair up, simple earrings/veil if you’re having one. Beaded tiara. Anything more would detract from the dress.

Thebluedog · 13/07/2018 12:18

Gorgeous dress

As others have said, hair up, some lovely Art Deco drop earrings and either an Art Deco watch or wide bracelet, and bin the black bra Grin

Thebluedog · 13/07/2018 12:19

Don’t forget these Grin
