love these

MarshaBradyo · 02/09/2018 11:56

Wow QueenC you’re home. We’re still on the beach! We get back sooo late. Hope it’s not too bad for everyone. Although dc have the day off dh has to go to work poor thing

QueenCelestial · 02/09/2018 15:11

marsha we’re all half dead!! Getting up at 2 has killed us! Just had a long nap and trying to get through the rest of the day.

MarshaBradyo · 03/09/2018 09:22

We were the same but opposite QueenC home at 4am. Took ages! The long taxi home helped though as everyone slept.

It was a really great, hot holiday but also nice to be home as it’s sunny, especially to a very clean house.

Ok back later, looking forward to catching up

FedupNagging · 03/09/2018 13:55

Lol Blingy, for some reason I can get away with wearing flatforms, can't do delicate though!

Welcome home Queen & Marsha, sounds like you've both had great holidays. Did you go to the same place?

I really like the yellow loafers Lib & you'd be able to wear them with so much in your wardrobe.

Am on my phone so can't do links but after a new bag. I have a budget of about £300. So far have seen a bag in Boden -(well under budget) & 2 in Coach. Oh & a preloved mulberry; am being very indecisive!

MarshaBradyo · 03/09/2018 18:08

Fedup thanks, no different places just weird fly early or very late flights

I feel fine though, mostly because I slept into 9am which was bliss!

Look forward to look links for bags, was going to say which one but then I thought had better see them ;

QueenCelestial · 03/09/2018 19:16

fedup I’m a big coach fan and they seem excellent quality. I think if you’re looking at them or a mulberry that you won’t be happy with a boden one.

THe oasis jeans arrived and the fit and colour is exactly what I wanted. But the length is about an inch too short even in the short leg. I could get them shortened but itsvan added expense so I’ll wait and see what the Levi’s are like.

FedupNagging · 03/09/2018 20:10

You're probably right Queen

The 1st pic is the Boden I love then the 2 Coach - one under and one over budget. Also have my eye on another Coach bag but it's in the sale so not going to link.

Welcome home Marsha and QueenC, glad you had good hols.

I like the third bag Fedup, think I looked at it when buying a work bag but decided it was a tad small - I ended up with the MJ one that you have in red IIRC.

Just did a disappointing Hush shop - they had 10% off. I was after a floaty dress for autumn and loved the colour of this cobalt one but the material was horrible - polyester, expected more for £99 - and the 8 was massive. The red one was better material, viscose, but still not a bit big and not very flattering. The search continues.

MarshaBradyo · 03/09/2018 20:35

Fedup third one for me too

Stokey that’s a shame I can see why you ordered them, they looked promising

FedupNagging · 03/09/2018 20:54

I love the print of the red dress Stokey; I've been looking at the shirt in the same print but with
white background and red birds Hush is very hit and miss imho - high price, cheap fabric or not a great fit. That said, I love the 2 dresses I have.

The third bag is probably top of the list so far but have now seen a couple of Kate Spade bags (already have several of hers so could do with a change) and MK in oxblood - at least I think it was MK - am looking at so many I can't remember what I've seen Grin

Stokey · 03/09/2018 22:17

Ooh you've inspired me Fedup. When I tried the red dress on, I thought it'd be good as a shirt & lo, it exists! The blue does too & viscose rather than poly. Will give them a go.

QueenCelestial · 04/09/2018 08:05

Hush is very hit and miss. I don’t understand how so many people rave about them.
fedup love the 3rd one. I’d love that one but waiting for a colour I want.

Back to work/school today. Wearing jeans. Want to be back in a bikini!

shopafrolic · 04/09/2018 09:33

Trying to book somewhere for our MU but am getting overwhelmed with all the venue choices. Does anyone have any decent ideas for location with not too ££ prosecco? PM me please! :)

maradesbois · 04/09/2018 15:26

Hello,

Jumping back in, just back from hols but nowhere warm so am envious of QueenC and Marsha.

Fedup I like the third bag best too, maybe Mulberry outlet is similar price point too?

Hope babyblair is doing well and letting his mother get a bit of rest!

Shop mu venues are tricky due to London drinks prices which is why we always seem to end up going to the same place. It worked well last time starting there though & room for pram for junior Voguette minimarsha

maradesbois · 04/09/2018 15:26

Oops posted to soon, meant to add that we moved on somewhere fancier later.

maradesbois · 04/09/2018 15:28

justa I bought the niod multi mollecular serum you recommended as it is oil free and can’t use oil on my face. Hoping for great things!

maradesbois · 04/09/2018 15:29

serum

Everyonelovessparkles · 04/09/2018 17:46

Glad queenc , mara and marsha all had good holidays and are back ok.

Great bag amber and fab shoes.

fedup I agree that coach bags are good quality and good value.

I don’t understand the hush love either. They do have the odd nice things but people on MN and bloggers seem to go mad for it. I think it’s a bit like mint velvet. MV are now doing a kids line, there’s a couple of nice things for DD but she really doesn’t need anything....

I ordered this dress with the 20% discount code. I also ordered this needle and thread dress from the Outnet. It was due to be delivered today, and typically it came in the 25mins I was out on the school run, so,will have to wait until tomorrow now.

Feeling very ’bleurgh’ the moment. I’ve put on a fair few lbs over the summer and just don’t feel comfortable. Once both DC are at school and we’re back in a proper routine I feel more equipped to deal with it.

You must report back on the serum mara. I’ve been committed to Estée Lauder night repair for ages, but that one is 1/3 of the price of EL.

QueenCelestial · 04/09/2018 18:20

My legs are too short. Despite buying cropped and short jeans from Levi they all look a pretty much normal length Hmm. I can’t teally be arsed with the hassle of getting things turned up (especially as wanted to wear this weekend) so will return them all.
I also ordered a pair of 501s and omg, blast from the past. It was like looking at my 18yo self Grin. Definitely going back as not flattering on the bum at all!

Dreamqueen · 04/09/2018 19:32

Thanks for jeans feedback Queenc i was about to order cropped levis but now won't. Nearly got tempted by 501 s too.

FedupNagging · 04/09/2018 20:20

I really struggle with trouser length too, sometimes even 'short' length needs taking up. Tbh, I'm probably just going to stick with Next & Boden trousers as they're the best fit. Actually Mint Velvet also do a good short.

2 very pretty dresses there Everyone so hope you like them.

I'm just about to watch GBBO with a healthy ginger tea smug emoticon with a cherry & chocolate oatmeal cookie or 2 I made earlier. not so smug. So I won't be talking about my weight today Grin

QueenCelestial · 04/09/2018 21:29

dream I reckon I need a 27 inch length like these. Not paying those prices though obviously! I’m now looking at gap but there’s so many styles and different sizes I’m losing the will to live. I love my gap girlfriends but wanted something a bit wider and less tapered.

QueenCelestial · 04/09/2018 21:31

And I don’t want roll ups or raw hems which narrows the search further

DryWhiteagainW · 04/09/2018 22:42

I agree about Hush. Looks fab on the (tall) models. But whenever I’ve tried it on its huge and too unstructured for me.

Made a prat of myself in the gym this evening......took a swig if water half way through class, bloody top fell of and I poured water all over myself Hmm .......
