@Dave also have a look at topshop & H&M they both do really good vests, I have some from H&M which must be at least four years old & are good as new.

ilovecherries · 27/06/2018 22:37

Well, they seem to be doing (for them), super fast refunds. Stuff I posted back on Friday was refunded today.

Whitesea · 27/06/2018 23:09

Stuff I posted eight days ago hasn't been refunded. Their refund process baffles me.

ilovecherries · 27/06/2018 23:22

Yeah, I was really pleased to get them so quickly - there were three parcels, and they were all refunded within minutes of each other.

People who have both the frayed star jeans, and the embroidered ones. How would you say they compare for size?

Ellapaella · 27/06/2018 23:53

I have both cherries and think they were both true to size.
The pale star ones (with the stars down the side) came up large.!

Laska5772 · 28/06/2018 05:32

Its really pathetic I think not doing free returns during sale times. And would make me think twice about ordering except I have now learnt to keep returns labels from all my orders ..
Im pretty sure though that I am still waiting for a refund on something I sent back about 3 weeks ago.. I cant check it from here but havent had an email from them. Itll be on my list to chase up when I get back ..I still have the postage slips so I should be able to trace it .the two bay dresses I tried for size have been refunded and they were sent after the first parcel.
Weather is looking good in Greece from here on now Smile. But ive just realised that I left my blue flowery panel maxi at home.. ( a bit annoying as I bought that especially for this hol).. I seem to be getting quite good at forgetting stuff atm !!Grin

CakeInMyFace · 28/06/2018 06:36

Hi everyone (waves)! I hope I can join you as I own a fair amount of hush and am only a teeny bit addicted Grin. I've been following these threads for ages but always a bit scared to post!

Thought I'd be brave and ask if anyone has the Marina skirt in black? Just arrived abd I love it. Never had a maxi skirt before and wondered if anyone else has it and how you are styling it? Ive tried it on with my hush leopard print tee but bit unsure how to wear the skirt well!

neveradullmoment99 · 28/06/2018 07:40

Welcome @cake. I dont have it but im sure orhers have it👍

Hi cake I have the black marina from the winter collection. I’ve worn it with leopard tee, leith silk tops, a glitter star jumper (winter) and a loose black vest thingy. In the summer I’ve worn it with silver sandals, tan sandals and leopard or black trainers. In the winter I wore it with fishnet tights and patent brogues. I don’t wear heels, ever, so my shoe choice is always limited.

Whitesea · 28/06/2018 08:45

I have the blackmerina too. I’m afraid to say despite trying it on a hundred times, I have never worn it. I think it is more a Winter skirt but it doesn’t work for me in the Winter. I tried it on very recently again with a sleeves black cami and a tan belt and tan sandals. In theory I thought it would work but felt like the Merry Widow in it. There is something just not quite right about it.

Whitesea · 28/06/2018 08:46
  • sleeveless
neveradullmoment99 · 28/06/2018 09:36

I bought it years ago and never wore it. Like whitesea I just couldn't make it work for me but for different reasons. I felt it was too dressy for work and too dressy for casual at home. I don't really have lots of evenings out so it just sat there.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/06/2018 09:37

I did love it though - to look at but in practice, it just wasn't for my lifestyle.

ilovecherries · 28/06/2018 09:56

I’m floating about in my blue panel maxi dress today, and silver sandals. Am very comfy :)

Laska5772 · 28/06/2018 10:10

Ive worn my marina skirts ( have black and burgundy) more in the winter though with jumpers opaques and boots. I also have the Sofia black and white striped ( its in the sale right now) pretty sure its just the same as thisyears striped marinas. Worn that a lot withmy yellow raglan and bright yellow linen T from last year; also the raw edge Ts in dark pink and french blue and the last years short sleeve sweat in black . That one seems more like a summer skirt to me

Laska5772 · 28/06/2018 10:12

Thats the dress I forgot Cherries, i have coral tile print panel maxi on ) from a couple of seasons ago)

neveradullmoment99 · 28/06/2018 10:47

Im in my hush shorter shorts and Grecian tops but two arrived this morning - which ones do I choose ha ha…
I now have the gorgeous turquoise radiance, tile print, cream mini geo, brushstroke one and the black one on its way. Also bought the turquoise ethnic dangly earrings and wearing those and they go with all except the tile print in blue although probably ok with that but not got the colours in it. Will decide after I get my face cream etc on.
That's it for me husheetas. No more sale purchases. Just going to return and wait for my refunds.

All I am looking for is a swimsuit that flattens my tum.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 28/06/2018 10:48

and a fairly cheap one at that.

I’m just waiting for a few more midi/maxi dresses. I reordered the white Alanis to have a look at it. I tried it before and rejected it at full price as too see through, so I will see what I think of it at sale price. Reordered the grey Jamie in an xs, although I don’t really believe that will fit, but S was really too baggy. Also the Jacinta in charcoal which may be too draining for me and the sleeveless solanga in washed red. Both Iris dresses had to go back. If I can get two keepers out of this order, that will be me all set for my multiple holidays.

Ellapaella · 28/06/2018 13:42

Not Hush (sorry) but i ordered a summer dress in the Joules sale and it arrived today. I didn’t have high hopes as not a massive Joules fan but actually I like this. And it was only £17 and keeps my chest covered which I prefer for very hot weather as it was my chest that I had to have a pre-cancerous lesion removed from so I’m super paranoid about getting sun damage there again.

neveradull would love to see a pic of you in the Grecian tops (hmm that sounds weird, I hope you know what I mean!!!)

EachandEveryone · 28/06/2018 14:40

Thats lovely looks good quality as well.

Talking of vests my neighbour bought me a mint vest home from morrissons and its fine for £4 comes up bigger but its nice and long.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/06/2018 14:54

Our local morrisons have just started selling clothes - I might go and have a look at the vest tops.
For some reasons I think peacocks and morrisons clothes are the same label.. Is it nutmeg? Sometimes peacocks can have some quite nice stuff in, especially over the summer.
