I’m currently on train to Scotland. After DD insisting she was fine go to her pre-op herself, she lost her nerve and says she wants me there to help explain her complex and depressing medical history and in case they find anything else wrong with her! So I’m am whiling away the journey doing therapy shopping. I do like the new colourway in the Kensington, but I sent the navy back as it loooked a bit sedate on me- now trying decide if it was style or colour that was the issue with the navy.

I'm uninspired by the new stuff. Thankfully as there are a couple of items in the A/W range that I would get more wear from and I feel my cash would be better spent on that.

Wonder why they have changed the model?

I liked the fact that the last one was a more 'usual' height. This one is uber tall so harder to judge how things will fit.

The Aurelia dress does look short on this model as she is 5ft 11!

It'd come to a better length on someone of average height.

I like the new colour Kensington dress, it's lovely. I'm not really a huge wearer of dresses though and not sure that in reality I'd get enough chances to wear it. So far it's been an exceptionally warm summer and I've bought far more summer clothes than I ever would.
I'm saving now for AW so will just have to willow everyone else's buys.

Was momentarily tempted by the white Portobello dress and top, but realistically I never wear white and I've only worn the black one a few times so far!

Plus OH would probably block a gasket if I order anything else at the moment!

Ive decided that I really like the Tatiana swing dress, but this late in the season I am really wondering if its worth it.. reckon it may end up in a future sale...

I love the white dress too but with a 7 year old, 3 year old and a Labrador to run around after it's is definitely not a colour I can wear as I would be covered in stains in minutes!

Well i was not tempted by the white dress but i love the portobello top in white and black. But really how many summer clothes do i need? I really have enough.

Re Tara dress - I'd go one size bigger than for other Hush stuff as the skirt is pretty fitted. I have boyfriend jeans for example in 8, but 10 in the Tara is plenty snug enough.
Disclaimer obviously that could just be my fat stomach build, but that's my policy anyway!

@DavetheCat2001 I'm now keeping the Woodstock sandals. Wore them yesterday 'around the house' looked down at my feet when I was hanging washing out.... oops! But as the day wore on, I found them really comfy and they do look lovely so all's not lost

Re Tara: I am usually an xs in Hush (size 8/10. I have the Tasha and short sleeved Tara in xs and the long sleeved in a S. I have the ruched skirts in Xs and S and prefer the S. Sorry not much help. Might be worth ordering two sizes if you can.

@ilovecherries, I hope all goes well with dd, I too have a dd who has some serious issues with her health, am off to st.thomas tomorrow with her, but always a bright side we are combining it with a visit to Oxford Street, for some shopping therapy.

Hmmm Luna I've just bought a Tara in a large - picture further down. I'm 5'9ish, 34E chest and a size 14.

Tbh I think I could have got away with a medium - my concern would be the length so I kept the large.

I think you would probably be ok with a small as its quite stretchy. Tough to say really.

So anyone else like the Tatiana dress or has the Greek heat got to me ? Am not really complaining but its nearly 11pm here and car still showed 29 deg a few mins ago! Wore my last years animal print ( Peach and aqua zebra print) Iris dress out tonight. Yesterday the Geo Bay dress . This means I only have 2 more things ( aqua tie dye kaftan from ss17 and Greek Widow dress to wear and everything I packed has had an outing)

And I have felt great in all of it
