What about trying it with a belt then?

neveradullmoment99 · 30/06/2018 10:44

I need to go and shop for a belt! I put on the brown one I used to wear with jeans just to get an idea what the dress might look like cinched in, and I have about 15 inches spare after the tightest hole - so that’s just gone straight into the charity shop bag! I picked up a couple I had on order from next last night, and just returned them straight away as I was in the tightest hole on the medium and it was still sliding downwards.

Oh im going out to socialise for the first time since my op today. I have all my new garments hanging up i dont know where to start Smile i think the floral trousers and a v neck black bubble top from Zara ans either tan or black fitflop sandals. Its very exciting.

Laska5772 · 30/06/2018 10:55

Ella love it all on you .
keep them ! ( v envious of your figure also
cherries i like the grey best on you. I thought the white alanis v transparent when I saw it irl. Red solana dont like so much.
I dont know if they still have any of the red Valerie T shirt dress from lastyear in the sale ( and i do keep banging on about it) but I really do love it and highly recommend
Never if they reduce the blue tile one I may give it a go .Was it the black grecian dress you bought?

What are you all doin g about returns? Using the old labels? I have a few.
Its a bit frustrating knowing i have lots of things waitingfor me and seeing you all inyours !

Whitesea · 30/06/2018 11:13

I like the white and the black dresses Cherries. Not as keen on the first dress.

I am a 34E cup size. Just thought I’d throw that out there Grin - because I’d liv

Whitesea · 30/06/2018 11:16

....sorry my fingers pressed post!

I’d really like a Grecian too. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for suitable bras? I tend to avoid spaghetti straps and flowing tops as they make me look even bigger/or are uncomfortable but I’m sure there is a bra out there that could work.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

ilovecherries · 30/06/2018 11:16

Decided to send them all back. WhiteSea, I see your 34E and I’ll raise you a 32K ;)

ilovecherries · 30/06/2018 11:18

Valerie is out of stock, Laska, and Iris has never come back in a 14 - which I suspect will be far too large everywhere but boobs anyway.

Whitesea · 30/06/2018 11:19

You are petite with a 32 Cherries! I was that pre kids and it was difficult to find larger cups with smaller backs.

Laska5772 · 30/06/2018 11:20

M&S strapless unpadded minimiser bra in mide whitesea ugly as hell but does the job on my 36es.sorry cant link it but its £22 and on their site atm

never rates the Next Jamie unpadded strapless minimiser also

Ellapaella · 30/06/2018 11:21

Cherries and Dave wow! You both look fantastic!
Dave you have a fantastic figure, both the skirt and the top look brilliant and live the skirt with the converse.
Cherries I love all 3 dresses on you, really look good.
I'm off to order a Grecian top now if they have any left! Grin

Laska5772 · 30/06/2018 11:24

Nude that is for that bra
Was Suprisingly comfy in 31 deg this morning under my orange hush panel maxi dress

Ellapaella · 30/06/2018 11:25

Too late to the Grecian top party! Angry
Bah.. I love Never's turquoise one and the brush stroke one that Dave And never Have.

Laska5772 · 30/06/2018 11:27

Oh yes sorry , it was dave this morning looking great in grecian top etc) but im sure you will also ellaGrin

Laska5772 · 30/06/2018 11:33

Ella have you looked at the grecian dress? They had that in the brushstroke earlier ( i was looking to see if they did it in the blue tile , but noSad)

neveradullmoment99 · 30/06/2018 11:36

It would be beautiful in the blue tile. Wish they did it. @laska, i only have the grecian tops not the dress. Would love it in black. They only have the shorter version which imo would be too short.

Ha Ha, petite is not a word I’d claim. A year ago I was a 40K, to be honest, given I’ve lost all this weight and STILL have a humongous chest, I’m really tempted to consider a reduction. I think I would probably be a 10 on top without them, but as it is I certainly need a 12 (and as the Iris dress showed, sometimes a 14)

EachandEveryone · 30/06/2018 12:43

Finallly a photo without breaking my phone.

Right! In anticipation of all things late summer/early autumn from Hush (yes I know, it is madness thinking that far ahead with the sun shining BUT I have my summer wardrobe 100% sorted) I am going to take the plunge and sell old clothes on ebay. I have never sold there, although I buy a lot! I have tons of stuff sitting in bags to donate and just selected about 20 items, including some BNWT things from Hush Blush. Any pro tips? I am thinking of going with BIN options rather than auction, and limiting postage to Ireland and the UK.

Ellapaella · 30/06/2018 13:05

@miffy2 I would honestly try the FB selling page for Hush and Mint velvet first, no time wasters and no selling fees.

Ellapaella · 30/06/2018 13:05

@EachandEveryone looking good!

EachandEveryone · 30/06/2018 13:15

They said the swelling takes afew months to go down but i think i need to start wearing pull you in knickers if amyone knows some good ones nor too dear and not too stong. I dont want to buy a binder

miffy2 · 30/06/2018 15:04

Ooh thanks, Ella - hadn't even occurred to me that this group existed :)

miffy2 · 30/06/2018 15:05

Can you send me a link to it? Thanks.
