Do you think my flicks are too flicky? 😬

I’m pretty new to this eyeliner lark and I’m not young anymore sadly so I’m a little concerned I might need to be a little more conservative.

My eyes are deep set which makes doing the flicks much more tricky. I made myself a little template to try and get each side the same but now I’m wondering if I need to make them smaller 🤔

If anyone else with deep set eyes can be bothered to share a pic or a tutorial I’d be grateful.

I like them

GummyGoddess · 05/06/2018 14:51

What sort of template?

rightknockered · 05/06/2018 14:52

I think they look good.

sirmione16 · 05/06/2018 15:46

Spot on! I'm jealous.

Whatdoiladymcbeth · 05/06/2018 15:48

Love them.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 05/06/2018 15:49

Lovely eyes and great flicks!
I'd soften the eyebrows though - your eyes should be the centre of attention, not the brows

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 05/06/2018 15:49

Nice flicks!

Wingbing · 05/06/2018 16:11

They look lovely. Maybe soften the brows?

GrannyGrissle · 05/06/2018 16:38

They look fab! xxx

Helmetbymidnight · 05/06/2018 16:39

What beautiful eyes you’ve got!

SleepFreeZone · 05/06/2018 16:42

The brows are newly microbladed so they are a little strong at the moment 😬

Excellent flicks! I can't do flicks at all, how did you make a template?

SleepFreeZone · 05/06/2018 16:44

The template was something very simple. I took a straight bit of paper and folded it to look like a small ruler. Then I put one edge to the end of my brow and one edge to the edge of my nose and made a line where I wanted the flick to start. Now I just use it to make a dot on each eye if that makes sense.

It’s basically this 😳

Looks fine, doesn't even look extremely flicky to me, they're just little flicks!

SleepFreeZone · 05/06/2018 17:07

In real life they look big!!!

GinGeum · 05/06/2018 17:13

They look lovely! Can you post a pic of your eyelids closed? I have eyes just like yours and have never been able to work out how to do a flick over the crease.

Hideandgo · 05/06/2018 17:15

You’re very beautiful and I don’t think they look good. Simply because they are a bit out of fashion I think and also I hate to see faces drawn on rather than subtly enhanced. Flicks and contouring and all that stuff is too much.

AbsolutelyBeginning · 05/06/2018 17:16

They look perfect to me. Plus, your eyes are incredibly beautiful Smile

SleepFreeZone · 05/06/2018 17:22

ive managed to get one front facing without being cross eyed! You can see how big they look now.

They look crap with my eyes closed as I’ve kept the top line quite thin.

Dead envious.
My eyes are too droopy for flicks so my eyeliner just.... stops.!

SleepFreeZone · 05/06/2018 17:25

Hideandgo I posted recently about having surgery on my eyes so for the first time in my life I can actually do my eyeliner like this. So before they sag again I am just being really immature and enjoying buying make-up again and experimenting. I do take your point though.

Breskfast I had exactly the same issue my whole life. I am now revelling in the flicks.

They are lovely!

Your eyes look lovely! Can I ask what eyeshadow you have used? I want some!
