I have had a much longer for colour change to my hair. The stylist (she was awesome) achieved this with my thin, straggly hair.

Olaplex is amazing stuff. Now how can I achieve this blow dry at home?

Bleach London products (buy in boots) are really good. Your hair looks lovely

Best purple shampoo I’ve ever used is fanola no yellow it’s proper pigmented and takes all the brass out

Good damage recovery is tigi bed head urban antidotes, I use level 3 as mine is quite damaged on the ends but you can get lesser levels depending on the damage

My hair is this colour ... I've tried all the silver shampoos !!! Stand out one for me is Schwarzkopf Color Freeze Silver shampoo ... it's a must have for me now ... also the matching conditioner.. it's quite expensive but lasts ages xx

Oh I hope my hair makes it through this.

Taken me ages to grow it. Condition it as much as I can and follow the advice I guess.

I love your trousers Smile

Looks nice, OP, but in my case I think I'll just wait until my hair goes white on its own - seems a bit cheaper. ;)

RoseWhiteTips · 02/06/2018 20:42

It looks longer in the salon. Or is the back longer?

RoseWhiteTips · 02/06/2018 20:43

Prefer the non-straight look the hairdresser achieved.

victoryvee · 02/06/2018 20:50

I have similar colour and find Maria nila much less drying than the touch of silver etc. It looks gorgeous

Seconding the Schwartzkopf Color Dreeze Silver Shampoo. I've used Provoke Touch of Silver in the past and although the pigment is great, it really dries out your hair. I read somewhere that's it's because colour shampoos are designed to really lift up the hair cuticles, so that the pigment can get deep into the strand. The Schwarztkopf is sulfate free and somehow it keeps the hair nice and silky whilst still depositing the violet pigment. It's also the only sulfate free shampoo I've tried that doesn't make my scalp itchy and greasy within a day. And it smells lovely.

RegionalTreasure · 02/06/2018 21:29

Aargh I proof-read too! Color Freeze, of course.

TeaAddict235 · 02/06/2018 21:32

@NurseButtercup now your hair is beautiful!! Op, I liked your hair better brown. It must be my age or eyesight or something, but .....
I'll stop now.

Percy & Reed shampoo gets me extra days without washing my fine hair

winterisstillcoming · 02/06/2018 21:39

I leave olaplex 3 on for a good 4 hours or overnight if I can once a week.
