Big tummy & swimwear

I'm going away on a family holiday with friends and desperately need swimwear.

I have lost weight (post 3 children) and lost weight, was wearing size 22 at my biggest and now in size 16 through diet and exercise, but my tummy is horrible & disgusting. As not only do I still have a stomach I also have an overhand, loose skin.
Plus I also still have a big bum....

What swimwear can I wear to disguise this? I do have reasonable breasts and my waist isn't bad, but I want to wear something to feel comfortable on the beach.

Please help ....

Try For Luna, the ruching is great for hiding tummy flab and skin www. Forluna.co.uk

Sorry that’s www.forluna.co.uk The plain coloured ones are really glamorous too. Boden are nice too

I think I’ve been on every S&B swimsuit thread suggesting it but I found the nicest thing for my shape is a high waisted bikini. It scoops the tummy up and in and finishes on the narrowest part. I found tankinis to just ride up and be uncomfortable but high waist bikinis just stay in place and feel so supportive and nice. I have a super high one that leaves an inch strip of skin between bottoms and bra which I love, then a couple that finish a bit lower but still keep everything where I want it.

This swim dress from Asda has magical tummy skimming powers - It has been tested to the limit with mine!

I have a forluna one, best swimsuit I’ve ever had, it’s like magic! It gives me a waist, good boobs, lifts my bum.

I have the dreaded c section overhang and spent ££ on a swimsuit from seafolly, which was nice enough but not brilliant. Then completely by chance I saw the Tesco hold- you- in swimsuit for £10 and it is amazing!! Really flattering and tummy control/ rushing really works! Can’t recommend enough! I also bought mix and match bikini from Boden, which I love as covers the Mum tum! But the Tesco one shows you don’t need to spend loads!

I cannot agree more with the posters who recommend a swim dress. Mine (as I posted somewhere else the other day), has a rouched swimsuit body and a skirt which is from the hips like a girl's Ballet dress. I have a problem stomach like you from years of surgery and it disappears. Don't go for a standard suit or bottoms etc if you'll feel at all self conscious around others but try to find a swim dress/skirt. I think mine was from Debenhams. Worth every penny. Oh and black is best. Good luck!

Lands end do some great tanking tops in a
Blouson style which you can match with a skirt or a high waisted bikini bottom. Cover a multitude of sins!

Some great links for swimwear. I had a magisculpt swim dress in black. I felt so confident wearing it. Really flattering.
