28d teen bra

Could someone help me find a bra for DD? I’ve measured her as 28d.

I’ve spotted a few on eBay but, as it’s her first proper bra, it would be better to be able to try and return.

I’ve found this one at John Lewis but I’d rather not pay £18 plus delivery if I don’t have to.

It seems to be a really hard size to find for teen bras, apart from a few sports bras.

Are the 30d bras only in store at Victoria's Secret? I've looked online and smallest back size is 32"

In the end, I ordered the original John Lewis bra I had found in pink (nudish, I hope) and white and this one in a 30C. I also ordered a couple of Royce teen bras I'd spotted on ebay, which I noticed that I could return.

Fingers crossed that a couple of them will fit.

I was excited to look at Victoria's Secret, as I'd forgotten about them, but once again, nothing smaller than a 30" band. Ho hum!

OP I ordered a Freya "Deco soft cup" bra on eBay (new with tags) in nude size 28dd. It arrived today and I'm delighted with it. Very soft and comfortable, gives great shape and can't be seen under clothes at all. Delighted with it. I thought of this thread when I tried it on!

Try Boux Avenue they do smaller sizes and I had an email for a new non wired range they do.

BigFatBloomers · 30/05/2018 01:05

Thanks, macnab. That does look possible. I'll try that if none of the others are any good.

Ppwp I was sure I looked at Boux and they started at 30 but I see they do have 28s. I'll try that as well if the first batch don't work out. Lounge bras seem to be a thing.

There are quite a few in eBay. That's the route I'd take.

So, an update if anyone is interested.

The JL order arrived today. Their teen bras are a good fit and the pink is a reasonable colour under a white school shirt, so we’re definitely keeping that one. Don’t need the white one (but added it for free delivery)

Interestingly, the black 30c tshirt bra had a band that was tighter than the 28s. That also seemed to fit well so, if the Royce ones are no good we’ll keep that too.

We also popped into Boux Avenue as we were going past today. She tried the unwired lounge bra in 28d and, again that was a good fit and comfortable so we know we can go back for that if necessary.

So pleased that we seem to have ended up with various options and other ones to try after everything looking a bit hopeless to start with.
Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Just one more thing, what is the thinking with pubescent girls and underwires? I’ve seen some people say they’re ok and others not.
Does anyone know in an expert, informed way?

And the final update is that the Royce teen bras arrived today. They were meant to be 28d but the band was tiny. Would be great if anyone needed a 26 I should think.
We’ve decided to keep the pink/nude on from JL and go back to Boux to get a black lounge bra.
It’s funny as I don’t think I had anything other than white bras for years when I first started wearing one.

Not hugely expert!

But it's basically the case that a properly fitting underwire is fine. But so many bras are not well fitted.

(And I also think it's said by those who want to keep their DDs in plain/sports style bras for as long as possible, but given the rise of the racey bralet I suspect that reason - if ever overtly admitted anyhow - is becoming less relevant)
