Yes, but with make up on I just look more colourfully tired.

Aufish · 17/05/2007 09:44

Yes I do, got asked yesterday by a friend if I had slept ok, look terrible without it on. Its back on today and feel alot better for it.

never underestimate the power of mascara! (and a little undereye concealor...and a bit of foundation, some powder, a little blush...some botox. lipo....body double...)

LynetteScavo · 17/05/2007 10:11

With out make-up I look completely knackered, and about 10 years older.

saltire · 17/05/2007 10:13

I must look terrible to everyone else when I have no make up on, as I'm constantly being asked if I'm feeling ok, or that I look very pale

foxinsocks · 17/05/2007 10:13

lol cod

why do people ask questions like that?

as if you are going to say, 'yes, I'm knackered, was up all night shagging' or something.

I look very washed out with no make-up on.

Hassled · 17/05/2007 10:13

I haven't left the house without mascara and eye-bag concealer for about 20 years now . I look like the walking dead without makeup.

babyblue2 · 17/05/2007 10:13

I think people don't look tired, just different and anyway perhaps those who comment think you do look tired on that particular day.

thequeenofcontradiction · 17/05/2007 10:15

I rarely wear make up so people are used to the way I look in the buff, so to speak. Then when I do wear it, if I go out somewhere flash, then people are pleasantly surprised.

glamourbadger · 17/05/2007 10:16

Ha - I look like I have no eyes without mascara - and as for the under-eye bags! It's been a good few years since I left the house with no makeup on.

A bit sneaky but I used to turn up to work with no make-up on after a day off sick. Everyone used to be terribly sympathic as I looked so washed out!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 17/05/2007 10:18

I look shit without make up on (which is nearly always)

glamourbadger · 17/05/2007 10:18

sympathetic even!

saadia · 17/05/2007 10:21

oh yes I get those comments too.

scootermum · 17/05/2007 10:22

Tired?I look half dead!

PavlovtheCat · 17/05/2007 10:24

I look awful without make up on. I rarely have time to wear make up, so I look awful most of the time!

Aefondkiss · 17/05/2007 12:06

I get the same sort of comments as saltire,

people asking if I am feeling okay, I try not to subject people to my face without make up.

I have just bought a new foundation, that supposedly makes the wearer look like they have had ten hours sleep

twelveyeargap · 17/05/2007 12:09

Yes. If I EVER didn't wear make up to work, about 5 people would say, "You look awfully tired today, are you ok?" Cue me disappearing to ladies and coming out looking "refreshed".

MrsBadger · 17/05/2007 12:11

are you wearing black again, littlemouse?

I am knackered but no-one is asking me if I am tired
can only assume either
a) pg glow is compensating or
b) I look this rough all the time
