Hippies from the 1990’s -anyone got an urge to revisit too?

My style back then was very fairtrade hippie with some homemade stuff. I really miss the colour and creativity and was wondering if others were feeling it too?

At the moment I want patchwork dungarees, tie dye dresses and those recycled sari/scarf skirts.

I like an artsy vibe too.

Anyone found anything fantastic lately along these lines?

Head in the Clouds is still going strong, yes. 😊

Oh god, patchwork dungarees! Loved them, but don't think I could go there again.

Like both the pairs of shoes in your pics, though.

I just looked at the Head in the Clouds website they still fold their grandad shirts the same way they did in 1987! And probably 1978 too. Grin
Inannas festival too. Somehow I feel a bit better knowing that. Confused

I've just been spirited back 30 years... Head in the Clouds & Feet on the Ground next door!

InglouriousBasterd · 20/04/2018 22:55

I had silk patchwork dungarees in beautiful watercolours. Accessorised with cherry red DMs and hippy love beads Grin I was only about 10 but I loved that look so much!

Frankie glad to help. If you're in York anytime, they have a market stall just off Parliament Square, email them to see which days they are there.

OMG I've just found tie dye DMs! Back in the day we had to paint our own! www.drmartens.com/uk/p/unisex-boots-pride-tyedye-backhand-1460

I am also eyeing up some rather fine drop crotch elephany pants which think are sometimes called Aladdin pants.

The comfort....

Love the green ones! I had an epic collection of voluminous strides back in the day. Suspect they'd look better on my long lost size 10 self but I'm willing to try.
