What is it?

Fed up with my dry, horrible lips. I’ve been using Blistex in the pot for years, but I need to reapply constantly. Grr!!

I'm another one who uses nipple cream. If it can fix bleeding cracked nipples it can fix your lips

I believe I have the answer!

I have suffered from dry , cracked, peeling lips for years!

Currently using "xo balm" - a multipurpose natural balm.

Ingredients- beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, seed oil.

I put a little vaseline on the lips ( you can use coconut oil if you prefer natural products ) then use the xo balm on top and it seals in the moisture, coats and protects your lips. It is a thick consistency so you may need to rub between two fingers to soften up before applying, and you only need one application for protection throughout the day.

No dry lips in-between usage. It has been a complete game changer for me.

Good luck!

Ouch, that's a bit much 😯 any friends or family visiting soon?

Re Nuxe - the one in a pot

WyrdSisterWeatherwax · 29/03/2018 17:17

It's Lanisoh for me.

I had the same problem for months with dry, cracked sore lips that I just couldn't fix. Tried a ton of different ones inc blistex intensive, carmex, nuxe, 8 hour cream to no avail before someone on here recommended lanisoh nipple cream.

Fixed it in a week. It's amazing.

Wild Rose Beauty Balm is the bomb.

ChishandFips33 · 29/03/2018 17:41

8hr cream
8hr lip balm stick
Nivea stick

Theclockstruck2 · 29/03/2018 17:47

I hate the nuxe one! I really think vasoline is the best, although there is one by malin+goetz which is excellent.

MarthasGinYard · 29/03/2018 17:48

8 hour cream is fab

Love my Clinique super balm but good old fashioned 8 hr Is a close second

Another vote for baume de rose: I suffer from chronically dry lips and previously swore by the Blistex tube with the red cap. But - I recently got a trial version of the By Terry lip balm and couldn't believe it. One little slick every night = soft, smooth, hydrated lips.

It is £££ but a) it really works and b) you need so little so rarely it's really cost-effective and lasts you ages

I never use balm because it feels good for about 5 minutes, then worse than before.
Try bepanthen from the pharmacy. I use it on chapped hands as well. Usually one application before going to bed sorts me out for months.
