Really unimpressed with my brows (pic attached)

I posted a while back to say I was letting my brows grow out so I could get them done at the Benefit counter. I was getting them threaded for £4 but they kept doing them too thin!

£15.50 and I'm left quite unimpressed Sad

I specifically told the woman that I wanted them thick still but with a nice arch.

She's done the end bits far too thin and wasn't even going to apply some filler eyebrow make up until I asked.

I honestly let my brows grow to a complete state for this, and they're no better than when I got them threaded for less than a fiver.

I use to get them done at Benefit years ago and they're were always amazing.

They just look odd to me Envy

Forgive my ignorance but what do Benefit actually do to your brows? I get the waxing bit obviously but then what? Is it permanent?

(For a moment I thought you were Meghan Markle Smile)

Was that a NC error there, OP?😂

TakeMeToTheFresh · 24/03/2018 12:38

Yes Blue,
Name change fail there, whoops. Now everyone will discover my low budget holiday realities Grin

Lost That's awful, did you go somewhere else after walking out or just leave it?

DontCall As standard, they just wax and pluck. But they do offer a tinting service no way I'd go for that whilst my brows were being butchered as it was

Ahh thank you, a few people have said that but I don't see the resemblance, she's very beautiful and knows how to pick someone who won't dodge up her eyebrows, it seems Grin

What a beautiful girl you are, I'm sure you can get your brows sorted out, with the right person.

bluebells1 · 24/03/2018 17:15

OP, you look stunning. Now, you need to find an older Indian/Asian lady who does threading and ask them to 'tidy' and not 'shape'. After years of mismatched eyebrows thanks to stupid threading people, my friend took me to her amazing local lady and she sorted me out and asked to ask for a 'tidy' always. HTH.

Housewife2010 · 24/03/2018 19:40

I go to a Blink Brow bar to get mine threaded. I have had horrid experiences at other places (tweezing , threading and waxing) in the past. I see the same trusted lady each time, but if she is away I tell the new staff member that I want my brows tidied but kept as thick as possible. I also explain that I have had bad experiences in the past and would like to check in the mirror regularly. I always have a handbag mirror with me, but there is never any problem and I find that the new staff member will check with me regularly.

Obviously don't ask for free products - that would just make it look as if that was your reason for complaining!
