I can't see anything about this yet so sorry if it's already on here.

So you get a full sized freebie with every order over £30.

I got a candle the first time I ordered, and I couldn't help going back for another turn and I got a 100ml cologne.

Must not try again.

NutElla - re overpriced candles

It depends what’s important to you. I’ve had plenty of OK supermarket candles - they do the job.

What they don’t do is scent the room as much, with a non chemical smell.

I agree £45 is silly for a candle. Which is why I wait for offers like this and get one free so candle is now £22.50.

Which is still a lot for a candle, but it’s a little luxury.

I just checked my first order, the one with the free 100ml cologne. It didn't go through at all. My luck is definitely not in on this one.

As for NutElla5x, I don't drink alcohol myself but could say the same about people who spend £10 on a cocktail. It's my money and I can afford it. I'm not sure why you are even on the thread to be honest.

The candles are far better than any cheaper ones I've tried. You can say the same for basically anything and yet we don't all live on Tesco value baked beans.

That being said I hope mine all show up!

Cant people just buy what they want? Not sure why you would comment on a thread thats to do with luxury candles and body care.
It will be my first Jo Malone candle, ive had Diptyque so i shall be comparing! I personally enjoy candles and wont stop buying them!Grin

This thread has cost me so much money! Managed to get a 30ml cologne and a candle so spoilt mum and grandma this mother’s Day.
Such a good deal!

Agree though I’ve not had anything else worth spending money on since about 8am yesterday. I dread to think of how many times I have refreshed that page!

I was given a JM Wood Sage & Sea Salt candle a few years ago and adored it

I’ve tried to buy cheaper candles that I like as much and have failed each time

The only other luxury ones I’ve had are Neom and even then I only get them when they are on offer. Hoping the JM ones are just as nice.

Well I would have a lot more fun times with the half dozen bottles of fizz I could get for 45 quid than I would watching a candle burn down and sniffing the air that's for sure :)

As an aside, I got bored with this and ordered the Aldi copies. They might not be as good but they are less than an tenner each.

All finished, and I spent £30 on a body wash and got a free candle- much better for my bank balance than last year when I did 4 orders. Thank you for posting OP!

Phew, just checked after the comments above and my candle is included on my order. I’m childishly excited, I really hope they are as good as I’m expecting.
I never got the hype about Jo Malone until I stayed in a boutique hotel that had their hand wash, it was just amazing. I haven’t been able to justify the prices until now do I can’t wait for it to arrive!

My friend loves JM but buys Aldi candles. She loves them and swears they are just as good.

I was seriously disappointed with the Aldi versions. They do smell very similar but when they burn they give off no scent at all. I spent a tenner on a big one that is basically a normal candle. Now that’s a rip off.

The reviews are mixed with some people saying they’re fabulous and some saying they are crap. real polar opposite reviews but pretty evenly matched.
