After some honest feedback. I’m wearing it to a wedding this summer. Does it look okay (ignore the black pants Grin will be wearing a more neutral colour on the day.

Er, yes.

latara23 · 31/01/2018 18:08

It's a really pretty dress

blueskyinmarch · 31/01/2018 18:09

It looks lovely on you. I assume you are wearing it as a bridesmaid not as a guest?

ColinFlower · 31/01/2018 18:09

Yes. It’s very long though.

Effendi · 31/01/2018 18:09

Wow its beautiful.

myrtleWilson · 31/01/2018 18:10

yes - its a lovely dress and you look good! although can I just ask - are you saying "this is the bridesmaid dress to be I'm wearing to be a bridesmaid - does it look ok?" or are you asking "I'm going to a wedding as a guest and recycling this bridesmaid dress to wear?"

pinyata · 31/01/2018 18:11

Where is this from I'm a bridesmaid in 2019 and might be giving the bride subtle hints to this it's gorgeous and you look fabWink

Finola1step · 31/01/2018 18:11

It is lovely...but are you a bridesmaid or a guest?

Mummybo8 · 31/01/2018 18:11

I’m a bridesmaid Grin

Yes, it’s very long, will need taken up. Can I ask, what colour would you say it is? The bride is going for lilac but was worried it looks pink?

This might help with the colour question.

Looks cream in that photo hence the comments above.

EggsonHeads · 31/01/2018 18:14

It looks very much Leila can to me and very nice too! Maybe ok with the bridge before having alterations though. Make sure you wear the shoes that you will be wearing on the day when you have it taken up.

eljay2 · 31/01/2018 18:14

I was talking about the first photo - more blush in the second

blueskyinmarch · 31/01/2018 18:17

It looks pale lilac to me.

PancakeInMaBelly · 31/01/2018 18:19

No, not without a slip, it'll look even more see-through in some other lighting/photos.
Get a slip. Tan pants won't cut it.

Kenworthington · 31/01/2018 18:22

Oh my it’s lovely I want it to wear to a ball I’m going to. Where’s it from op?

Mummybo8 · 31/01/2018 18:30

Great idea with the slip. I’ve never worn one before, can you buy fitted ones? I’m assuming that would work best underneath?

Thistlebelle · 31/01/2018 18:32

It’s very pretty.

I’d call that colour ashes of roses.

ThatsMyCow · 31/01/2018 18:35

Oh dear... Is this another one of those "what colour is it" dresses.
It is really nice though! It looks cream to me.

Mummybo8 · 31/01/2018 18:37

The bride needs it to be lilac. She hasn’t seen the dress in the flesh and has asked me to let her know because she wasn’t sure from looking at the pictures.

Mummybo8 · 31/01/2018 18:38

This is the dress sitting on my daughters’ pink table. Does that help?

Well the description on the website says lilac so other than taking it to the bride so she can look at it in person i don't know what more you can do. There are many shades of lilac.

Mummybo8 · 31/01/2018 18:41

We live really far apart and her whole colour scheme, flowers etc will be based on the colour of this dress 🙈

When you get it taken up, send her an offcit of the fabric.
