What I’m wearing today

When I first came across the S&B board, this was my favourite kind of thread, so I wanted to start a new one.

Today was a work day, so I am wearing:
The “Huxley” cable jumper from Jack Wills, in emerald.
Blue high waisted skinny jeans,
Tan imperial explorers from Fairfax & Favor,
Navy ariat fleece & my favourite pony skin belt that’s a light tan cow print.
Bare face; pony tail.

Day off today so staying in,

lounging About in purple patterns printed drop crutch Harlem type trousers. eBay
Long sleeve t shirt Tesco
Funnel length purple fleece
Thick fluffy socks primary
Lovely comfy fur lined slippers Xmas present

@notheretoargue thank you. I ve only ever bought this dress from SilkFred. I always forget about that site but every time I go on there are lots of things I like the look of. That dress is very good quality. It saw me through two pregnancies so based on that I d recommend it

Is it just me or has anyone else forgot Books Day tomorrow? I am sitting here sewing black letters onto a pillowcase for one of my boys Gangsta Granny costume 😩

Day off, got dressed into jeans and zadig cashmere sweater finished off with Himalayan wool multi coloured slippers, totally waster day as was awake for lots of the night. Have decided to paint our bedroom so currently in old sweatpants and long sleeved paint splashed hoodie rocking same slippers

My gangsta granny ready for tomorrow. I am kinda digging his outfit 😂 And to preempt it's not a political statement about gender fluidity,, it's his favourite book and an easy homemade option 😁 My other son is Harry Potter, I know there will be lots of them but I ve got liquid latex left over from Halloween to do the scar, and I am the shit mum that forgot about bloody book day 😩

Iris, I check into this thread from time to time and love your style. What intrigues me though is how do you store / sort all your clothes?

You must have easy access to them all but just how do you do it?

choose I imagine iris has one of those fabulous walk in wardrobes like off of American tv shows. Or a computer thing like Cher from clueless.

Today I am denim skirting. With thermal fleece lined tights, fluffy socks, a couple of tahirts and one of dh’s hoody’s.

Unfortunately it's none of those. I ll upload the big of my wardrobe when I get back. It's honestly not that impressive.

Thank you ilove colour is important to me, even when I was a child my outfits had to be just right. I think that my main style influences was from my granny. She always dressed so beautifully, I used to watch her doing her makeup, hair and getting dressed.

The outfits described on this thread are always so nice to read, from quirky to comfy, I enjoy picturing them in my head.

Ok today is super wintery and quite grey, so am going for maximum colour.....

DSQUARED2 red tartan maxi skirt,

Woolovers brown cashmere and merino roll neck jumper,

Thermals,

White stuff brown suede fleece lined knee high moccasin boots,

Kalico long red wool princess coat,

Toffee colour merino and silk oversized scarf.

Keep warm ootd mners

Oh and I forgot, Edwardian brown velvet and wool riding hat style, homemade hat.

Working at home today, courtesy of the beast from the east, therefore: chain store dark green cotton vest, dark green Dairi harem trousers, different green Blue Fish patched dress, with matching waistcoat, green thermal socks and black fingerless gloves, all topped off by one of my black fleece hooded dressing gowns from a theatrical costumier which resemble Harry Potter's robes.
We live in an old and difficult to heat house, so we don't care......

I'm wearing jeans, a Free People thermal and flannel shirt. Snow day!

Been lurking for ages but going to join in.. am having a snow day and my skirt from Hush arrived (fortunately postie wasn't on a snow day). I've been ransacking through my wardrobe having a bit of a clear out and rediscovering stuff I haven't worn for ages.

Scarf was a present
Boots so old I can't remember where they are from.
Dressed up with nowhere to go but am going to venture out to the pub for tea this evening.

Ella that skirt is nicer on you than the hush model. I like how you’ve styled it. I might order it myself now!
Love the jacket too it’s similar to the Hush leather jacket.

Ah thank you zippy what a lovely thing to say. I would recommend the skirt, much nicer than it looks on the website. Not sure I would have paid full price but good for the sake price.

Home today due to snow, and trying to keep warm whilst working on the laptop. Blue check pj bottoms with thermal tights underneath, with wooly slipper boots. Thermal vest on top, then a tee shirt, with a wooly jumper to finish. Brr...

@NameChangeOnTheRegular no it's not a secret. I am very open about what I post on here, it's @whatkeirawore it's a new page and pretty much the same stuff that I ve posted here. Just me getting my style confidence back after 2 back to back pregnancies.

Could I please just derail this thread with an update on my daughter? I ve mentioned before that we are worried about her vision as at 4 months old she is not focusing or following. Her pupils react to light but she won't follow the light source. It's all very worrying. But today she looked right at me and smiled and I couldn't be happier! I had preeclampsia and she born weighing just 1.3 kg so I am really praying it's just a developmental delay. This is her first smile and her few days old

ella that hush skirt is ace.

I may have just sneaked onto hush and ordered a ruched skirt. The stripe one. I have three of these (black red and blue) and wear them loads they are so versatile.
