What I’m wearing today

When I first came across the S&B board, this was my favourite kind of thread, so I wanted to start a new one.

Today was a work day, so I am wearing:
The “Huxley” cable jumper from Jack Wills, in emerald.
Blue high waisted skinny jeans,
Tan imperial explorers from Fairfax & Favor,
Navy ariat fleece & my favourite pony skin belt that’s a light tan cow print.
Bare face; pony tail.

Uniqlo red v-neck fine knit merino sweater over Hush leggings and boot socks. Should really wear a skirt with the leggings but don't care tbh - it's all comfy!

Today: navy, slouchy sweater from French Connection. Olive green biker jeans from New Look. Taupe ankle boots from Steve Madden.

Tonight (going to a family dinner): 'Greige' Cecily sweater from All Saints. Black, slim ankle jeans from Gap. Suede, taupe, open toe boots from Office. Wristful of silver bracelets.

Navy cord pinafore - Warehouse
Red, white and navy striped turtleneck - Zara
Navy opaque tights, black Chelsea boots - Clarks (tights unknown parentage)

Yesterday was:

Navy and red striped slightly a-line skirt - Warehouse again
Black crew neck jumper - Whistles
Black Wolford opaques and those Chelsea boots again

@iris I love that Preen/Debenhams dress so much! I was desperate for it but it was sold out in my size, so I actually ordered the size above thinking it might work. It didn’t and I was gutted.

@Judydreamsofhorses it's beautiful isn't it? I saw it featured in Grazia and had to have it 😊

Then probably purple skinnies, a white floaty sleeveless top, grey cashmere cardigan and tan ankle boots.

M&S wine heatgen roll neck top,

Thermal wine colour tights,

Jocasi wide brown leather belt,

Fitted toffee and black sheepskin gilet, handmade from Spain,

Fluffy chocolate sheepskin Russian hat,

Fly London black knee high wedge leather boots,

R&B black leather hand bag.

Calvin Klein sunglasses.

Diamond and gold rub over stud ratings.

Feeling bright and sparkly

Later I will be in my kickboxing gear, so super sexy shinpads, club uniform and boxing gloves.

Top shop leggings, hush grey and black plaid nightshirt (work as a dress!), with belt. Was going to wear my office black and gold studded boots but it's just started snowing. 😣

Today is dress down Friday at work, so I have on black straight leg Dash jeans, a khaki cowl neck hoodie by Esprit, a black New Look t shirt and black Adidas trainers which have Darth Vader on them. Also all the silver jewellery. Waterproof coat, silly grey bobble hat.

Today I wore:
“Starla” dress from Hobbs, it’s a shirt dress with foxes on it, it is my favourite thing in the world! with black tights and my tan imperial explorers.

When venturing outside I had on my wool trench coat from Jack Wills and a Burberry scarf.

Apologies for the quality of the attached photos, I’m not used to taking a full length “OOTD” picture that doesn’t include my face! 😂

@crazyspaniellady I have the Greyhound one Hobbs did years ago. I think it was 2012! I got the silk one and the shirt one, they are amazing! Loving your fox dress.

I am off out for my friends birthday drinks. There is a theme. SATC... don't we love a theme 🤦🏻‍♀️ But I am embracing it and channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw.

I really do love this thread, I always enjoy the fact that women in our society can wear what they like, so many styles!

It always brings a smile to my face when I look around and see so many people wearing so many different clothing items. From the hard core combat short wearing men (even in the depths of winter), to the little elderly ladies wearing beautiful outfits, the teen girl who has spent so much time on the perfect en vogue make up to the young men sporting well shaped (and oiled!) beards with their designer suits.

I do think that we are lucky to be able to be as individual or not in what we cloth our skin and personalities in.

I so so wish I’d bought a similar skirt a couple of years ago. We were in Italy on holiday and in Pisa. We were wandering around and came across Zara. Popped in and there was this netted silver sequinned ballerina fairy princess type skirt. Dh wouldn’t let me buy it. I say “let” he’s not controlling about me buying stuff. But he knew I wouldn’t have the balls to wear it he knew my suitcase was full and I knew he wouldn’t let me put it in his. So options would have been wear it home. Or ditch something else. I left it behind!!

Tomorrow’s first outfit will be jodhpurs, riding boots, thermals, waterproofs. Sexy.

@ememem84 it's always things we don't buy! I am still pining for a pair of leather trousers I didn't buy that were amazing and 80% off. But I was pregnant at the time and couldn't see past that.

I found the skirt on eBay last night. May have bid on it
