dh just looked at my new shoes and said "are they yours or did your mum leave them here?" . I had thought they were lovely. Now he's thrown me into the depths of self doubt. I hesitate to show you the picture as they don;t look great. you MUST ignore the brown. mine are green. have I made a truly awful mistake . I have haven't I?

hoxtonchick · 24/04/2007 20:44

chilledmama · 24/04/2007 20:45

Sorry hatwoman- I don't do bows or peep tows

hatwoman · 24/04/2007 20:45

ChippyMinton · 24/04/2007 20:45

um...did you keep the receipt?

chilledmama · 24/04/2007 20:45

I promise I can spell!Slip of the finger!

pirategirl · 24/04/2007 20:46

the bow is not my kinda thing, colour is cool.

Gobbledigook · 24/04/2007 20:46

They are horrid. sorry!

Tinker · 24/04/2007 20:47

I think a peep toe lends itself to a heel really. Sorry.

franca70 · 24/04/2007 20:59

Have to say they are quite nice

brimfull · 24/04/2007 21:05

they do look a bit grannyish to me,you'd need to offset them with trendy outfit I think.

chilledmama · 24/04/2007 21:07

yeah, with leggings and a rara skirt

chilledmama · 24/04/2007 21:07

meaow sorry

SSShakeTheChi · 24/04/2007 21:15

they would look a bit frumpy on me (sorry!). I need cleaner lines, maybe because I'm small. The bows and the ribboned effect round the edge would be too fussy on me. Maybe they look good on you though, hard to say. What were you planning on wearing them with, trousers or skirts?

Peeptoe better with heels IMO, think these do look bit old fashioned....

twobabies · 24/04/2007 21:33

I don't think they're too bad, but not great either! sorry

Rosa5 · 24/04/2007 21:36

for me on smaller feet I think would be ok

this whole m&s moccasin thing is passing me by, i'd have to say. the whole range is revolting. although nice colour.

hatwoman · 24/04/2007 21:47

it's a good job I asked! I haven't worn them yet. think I'll take them back. love the colour but can;t get the old-lady-ness out of my head now. but they're such lovely leather...and the toe is so perfectly formed...they'd be fab with killer heels and without the ribbon at the side. but that would be an entirely different shoe...

I like them.

But I do have terrible taste, so that probably proves everyone else is right.
