Dh got me a dressing gown & slippers as I like cosiness.

I bought myself a new 3 colour led face mask & a neck exerciser to stave off jowliness.

Love them both.

Itsjustaphase84 · 25/12/2017 14:15

PNGirl · 25/12/2017 14:21

My mum knitted me a beautiful black, grey and white jumper. I also got a black cashmere scarf, a new belt, and some gloves.

ReggaetonLente · 25/12/2017 14:22

A beautiful lambswool jumper from Reiss and the rainbow handbag from Kurt Geiger which I have been dropping jokey hints about for over a month but definitely didn't expect to get! I'm very very pleased!

BrownLiverSpot · 25/12/2017 14:23

Lots of moisturisers, all gratefully received.

BrownLiverSpot · 25/12/2017 14:24

And a very simple silver bracelet, will have to find an outfit to match it with.

SimplyNigella · 25/12/2017 14:37

DH bought me a fab lace trimmed top from Hush, red Topshop boots with snakeskin heels (nicer than they sound, I’d bought and retuned them previously for being too frivolous) and a gorgeous gold origami swan necklace.

Ninjakittysmells · 25/12/2017 14:51

I have a beautiful jigsaw silk jumper, I’ve never known anything so soft and gorgeous, and I’ve never owned anything so expensive. I am in love!

I am super broke this year, so I asked my mum for shampoo / conditioner / moisturiser etc too, and am very grateful for them! Oh! And some new make up brushes! I feel very spoilt!

RJnomore1 · 25/12/2017 14:55

Lots of Molton brown shower stuff (love it and it lasts forever)
A beautiful Estée Lauder palette with nudes and gold/Metallics
A bottle of chanel allure
A radley clutch bag
Tiffany double rings necklace

Shopping vouchers and money for a day out.

Pancakeflipper · 25/12/2017 15:00

L'Occitane shower cremes and hand creams.
A handmade silver bangle by my SIL (having a silversmith in the family is highly beneficial.)
A new leather bag from Fat Face - big enough for all the crap I feel the urge to carry about.
And huge thick fluffy socks which I will wear until summer.

I feel very spoilt as love them all.

PodgeBod · 25/12/2017 15:05

I asked my brother for some make up and he did not disappoint Grin he gave me 2 ABH palettes, an urban decay lip set, a Maybelline gift set, a foundation, lip pencil and a couple of NYX palettes. Really stunned by his generosity. Also my sister got me some benefit make up. This should all keep me going for a while!
Also received a bare minerals make up set and a Jimmy Choo perfume but as I bought and wrapped these for myself it wasn't such a surprise Wink

ZaraW · 25/12/2017 15:21

Dp bought me some earrings and dd1 bought me a beautiful silver bracelet (she only graduated a year ago, so I'm a bit cross with her for spending so much money on me, but it's absolutely gorgeous). She also bought me a Mac lipstick in Twig. I bought dd1 the huge Estee Lauder box offer, and bought myself one at the same time!

ilovecherries · 25/12/2017 17:40

I was delighted this year.
Air & Grace trainers
Alex Monroe necklace
L'occitane stuff
Cashmere beanie
Alyson Walsh's style book

But in some ways the absolute best present of all was I ran a parkrun this morning with DH and DS supporting me on the route, and DD cheering me on from the sidelines with the camera. Only a few years ago I was struggling to walk at all after an accident, and needed a lot of surgery. 2017 I've lost 4 stone and gradually started to run, just a few metres at a time initially. So I may have cried quite a lot with sheer happiness at how things have tuned out. Xmas Grin Life is better than I ever dared dream possible and running 5k for the first time was an amazing symbol of that.

missyB1 · 25/12/2017 17:45
